Handmade Basket Stamped Pass Through SPUR STRAPS Texas Ranger Buckles Conchos
This is a big pair of adult size basket stamped handmade spur straps. They are not maker marked. They are made of dark oiled skirting leather and have nickel spots with a star in the center around the outside edge. They have Texas Rangers solid nickel conchos and buckles that are not marker marked. The conchos have a cut out star in the center and read Texas Rangers around the outside edge. The buckles are mounted with a brass star and also read Texas Rangers. It does not look the straps were ever worn but were on a pair of spurs for display so there is pulling at the button holes and some minor scratches from handling. There is no cracking in the leather or pulled buckle holes and the leather is flexible. There is a green patina around the spots and on the back of the straps on the copper spot prongs as shown in the last picture. You are bidding on a vintage lot of 2 gold key fobs. One is about 1 inch high. Says Dallas Fire Dept and the other, about 3/4 inches high says Dallas Police on it. I don't know much about these, they were from a pawn shop liquidation, no markings on the back. They don't have any noticable wear, each has a loop at the top to put on your key chain.
