The boots are a lugged(not felt) sole and insulated. My recollection is I bought them off the clearance rack from my local fly shop to have as a backup in the drift boat when steelheading. These may have a couple days worth of use on them—I recall a friend using them after he took a swim while winter steelheading and I think my son used them once duck hunting. And I think I wore them for part of a day when my Simms got a leak. They come complete with s little midwest mud on the boots(I’ll brush the boots off before shipping but know they are used and the exterior of the boots a little soiled) I just slipped them on to make sure they are AOK and then turned ... morethem inside out and sprayed rubbing alcohol throughout to see if there are any pinhole leaks or seam problems(same technique fly shops use to check waders) These check out perfect. They are waterproof breathable with taped seams(these are not the modern sonic welded waders from Redington) If you suffer from cold feet when hunting or fishing. Do yourself a favor and use bootfoots-they resist water pressure that effects neoprene booties and thus blood flow to your feet and in my experience keep feet warmer. Some Details: They have an interior chest pocket for wallet. Phone or other valuable(note-not a sealed pocket-you go swimming, you risk water getting in this pocket) Draw string closure at the top. No wading belt—If I can find a spare in my gear closet I’ll include it but bid as if you need to supply the wading belt. Adjustable suspenders and elastic is in great shape. They have a double knee(no padding) Sharpie marking above the tag inside(I don’t know if I did that? I don't know how the sizing works compared to current Redington waders-for reference. I'm selling my beloved classic Simms wading jacket because my wife gave me a brand new one for Christmas. This one is in excellent condition and I took very good care of it. There are not even any smudges or stains to speak of. Even the taping on the inside is holding up well. This jacket still functions as rain shell. But not quite like a brand new one. I have personally used Renew on it one time and it refreshed it very well for a couple of trips. Renew works good and all Gortex products need it eventually and require special laundering procedures. Boots have scratches on the rubber boot part. They have been used! They have a metal shank bottom. The strap that tightens to your leg to hold them up is in good working order on both. But there is another strap looking thing at the top that is broken and dry rotted. I am not sure what that was for. It does not appear to affect the boot for its purpose. Look at pics!
