I used this reel a couple of times and caught a number of 30lb Class Striped Bass. Sweet reel and I happen to like star drags better than level drags. You can see from the pictures the reel is as good as new. Everything is included that comes from the Manufacturer to include the box. The original lube and reel mount are in a bag that was never opened. The pictures are of the actual reel and not some stock photo. You will receive only the reel in the picture. SHIMANO TLD 15 Saltwater Conventional Lever Drag Reel (Selling as a PAIR)
Pair of SHIMANO TLD 15 Lever Drag Conventional Reels I am selling these two TLD 15s as a pair. Both are in great working order as they were last serviced in March 2012. And I didn't get much use out of them in the 2012 season. Drags are still smooth, and aesthetically they still look good, but show normal wear such as minor scratches. These are spooled with 65# red Power Pro for backing up to about 1/3 of the spool(about 200 yards) then packed full with 30# smoke blue Jinkai line I added to is towards the end of last 2012 season, so it is still in good shape. I mostly used these reels for striper, black drum, and some inshore trolling for small tunas and mahi. I will only ship to the US and I am setting the shipping to be FREE for this pair of reels. I only accept payment via PayPal. Good luck bidding on this fine pair of reels.

This reel is in very good condition mechanically. Very good minus cosmetically. There is some pitting and plating loss on the metal parts, no indication of corrosion. The spool is metal. There is a strong on/off click button on the tail plate. Both end plates are unflawed brown bakelite. The head plate has a free spool throw-off lever on the rim and a star drag on the handle. The bottom of the foot is stamped"30-85" The 1973 catalog promotes this as"Ideal for fresh-water trolling and stillfishing" The reel is rated for 200 yards of 30 lb. Dacron. It is currently loaded with monofilament of unknown test, feels sturdy and useable.

PENN 500 JIGMASTER FISHING REEL W/ ROD CLAMP STAR DRAG - SALTWATER - TROLLING
Up for auction is a Penn 500 Jigmaster fishing reel with rod clamp. It has been lightly used but is in excellent all around condition. Star drag works as it should. It has a nice loud strong clicker. I would guess this has 20 lb. test and was used for trolling to catch big salmon and lake trout. It has no wear to speak of other than a few minor scuffs on the end caps that may have come off with a light cleaning. But I always leave that up to the buyer. Please feel free to ask questions.
