Small Fly Fisherman’s Fly Box W/13 Nice Assorted Flies Lures-Fishing Tackle
The box itself is plastic and has no name other than“Fly Box” It is manufactured to hold at least 36 flies. No rust. Cracks, etc. It will easily fit into a shirt pocket and measures 3 ¼ x 3 x ¾ inches thick. I counted 13 assorted fly sized lures in it. All appear to be in solid, clean condition and none have any rust on the hooks. I don’t know all that much about flies, so I’ll let the photos say the rest. Item will be shipped in a box. Fresh from a estate auction is this vintage 3" X 6 1/4" aluminum fly box that is made specifically for snelled wet flies. There are 5 snelled flies plus 3 wet flies in this old fly box or wallet. It does have 2 initials on the cover"SF" is scratch on it. I don't know if the initials are the owners? The snelled flies appear to be unused. This auction is for a 2 piece. 9" 6 weight legend ultra fly rod, Premium series Fly Logic reel flp 5,6,7. It comes with a Clear Creek 2 rod and reel case, and a16 window okuma aluminum fly case with 95 flies in it. The rod and reel are in super condition, used less than 5 times, all of the flies are unused. The rod case is dirty, but in very good condition and the fly box has one dent and has some scratches on it. Fly Fishing Flies - "bottom of the pack" 100 fly kitchen sink assortment
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING* This is an assortment of used flies. Some in perfect shape. Some ready for the trash. Literally every fly I had in the bottom of my pack at the end of a season of guiding. This is meant to be a fun auction and not to be taken too seriously! DESCRIPTION I usually get a new pack every year. I recently sold my Umpqua Ledges 650 from two seasons ago. I had shifted over all boxes/accessories/materials. But not cleaned out the pack. So literally I turned the pack over on a table. shook everything out. Picked out all the flies that did not shake out. Cleaned up the junk, snipped out the wads of monofilament. This is what I was left with. years ago I would have filtered through for the good flies and stashed the rest at my tying desk to see what I could repair and what I could recycle. Those times are gone. I did keep ... moreit real with the flies that are left. Hurts me to send along some of those that are in perfect shape! But it will make this more fun. PHOTOS- dumped the flies in a tupperware for the three photos of the selection. Shook the box. Took a second photo. And a third time. Those are three looks at the same selection. 100 flies is a fairly close estimate but not exact. Here is my quick estimate of what we have. 40% could catch a fish as is- 20% needs a few snips and turns of the bobbin to get back into shape- 20% hook are bent out(I sometimes bend them back if fishing on my own. But never on a clients rig) 20% are ready for the trash or for the hook to be recycled and reborn as a new fly. Average hook size would be#18 or#20. For your size reference there are 4 Amy's Ants floating around in there(in various conditions from perfect to needs help) Those hook sizes are: 2 at#10. 1 at#12, 1 at#14. A few patterns I noticed to be in good shape- Amy's ant- juju baetis- rojo midge- soft hackle pheasant tail- rainbow warrior- red copper john- mercury bead flashback pheasant tail- san juan worms- shammy leach- eggs. Scientific Fly Box with three dozen plus flies
This is a Scientific Anglers plastic fly box with three dozen or so flies. There's an assortment of nymphs. Dry flies, Pistol Petes( a Wooly Bugger with a spinner on the nose that was popular at Lake Crowley) I used them in fishing the Eastern Sierra. It's an eclectic collection of flies-they either caught a fish, or the fisherman, when I was fishing the Eastern Sierra.

This is a black metal Wheatley fly box with 3 dozen or so flies in it. They're mostly Wooly Buggers-a highly successful fly in the Sierra Nevada or elsewhere. Some of them in the more unusual colors-black. Purple, etc/ have never seen water. The green Wooly Buggers were deadly in Crowley Lake-and the green ones in this box have been in the mouths of more than a few trout. I don't fly fish or float tube any more, so am putting this box, and the flies in it up for sale.

This is a very nice fly box with 1/8” dense foam lining on both sides and Made by Ocean Fly Box. It measures about 6 ½ inches wide X 9 inches long X 1 3/4 inches thick. No cracks or breaks it’s in excellent condition. The box is used the flies are unused. It includes 35 new hand tied 2” to 4” Clouser type Shrimp flies. A pattern I developed over several years fishing the Fort Pierce area for Snook. Trout, Tripletail, Jacks, and Redfish also love this pattern along with a dozen or more other fish. Anything that eats shrimp loves this pattern. I had to give up fishing and have no use for these any longer.

Large Ocean Fly Box and 85 hand tied 3” to 5” weightless minnow type flies.
This is a big fly box with 1/8” dense foam lining on both sides and Made by Ocean Fly Box. It measures about 10 inches wide X 13 ½ inches long X 2 ½ inches thick. This box sold new for $ 40.00. A few boat scuffs you can see in the pictures but no cracks or breaks it’s in excellent condition. The box is used the flies are unused. It includes 80 new hand tied minnow flies I tied for Florida. Snook, Trout, Redfish, Jacks and others. These flies sell for $ 3.00 to $ 5.00 each in fly shops. This is about a $ 300.00 value. I will not be making that trip any longer.
