Recent Estate Sale Find: All you see is from the same home. There are two boxes. A 3 shelf Plano, and a smaller 2 shelf Old Pal. The boxes are LOADED with everything you'll need to enjoy years of great fishing. Now I've fished. Ever since I was a little girl, but only with my dad in a boat on the river. I used mostly real worms, that I picked myself, with a flashlight at night. When I rowed, dad would cast for bass. I LOVED it, and we'd catch everything from eels, blue gills, perch, walleye, large and smallmouth bass, snapping turtles, sunfish, pickerel, and northern pike. I didn't like the eels, or snapping turtles! I feel bad that I can't give a name to everything in these two boxes. So I took a LOT of pictures and that way you'll know exactly what you're getting. To note: In the bottom of the big box was a large spray bottle of some kind of bait scent that all leaked out. I washed out the tackle box with degreaser, because it was oily. This is a vontage Old Pal metal tackle box. Everything works good on it but it has some surface rust on the outside. It open and closes easy. The trays work great, the hinges open and close like they should and the latch closes up and locks. Im not sure what model this is but the handle has a fish on it as you can see in the 2nd picture. This is a Vintage rare Old Pal PF 2000 2 Tray Black Tackle Box in good condition. Opens from the front with 16 compartments with plenty of room in the bottom. As you can see in the pictures it has been fully cork lined. I always provide before and after pictures so you can see what you're getting. Closes tight and secure with the original latch. This one has the silver and black latch. The handle is high impact plastic and in white. It does have some worm burns in the trays. But none all the way through, just mostly cosmetic. Vintage"Old Pal" USA tackle box with 65 vintage lures. An excellent Golden West spinning reel and a Martin 03 automatic fly reel, both work properly. Also several old hook packs, a box of Mustad 6/0 hooks and an empty bottle of Pflueger Speede reel oil. Lures include 4 Heddons; Magnum Tadpoly, Baby Lucky 13. Firetail Sonic and a very old Heddon River Runt Spook Sinker in the box.Box is very good with tight corners, lure is early plastic and deformed from age. 2 wood lures that are sort of shaped like flatfish and in excellent condition. Too many other brans lures to list. Look closely at the photos and ask questions. Box is 14 x 7 x 7 and is used. bottom has some rust. Bow open, closes and latches properly. Old Pal Blue Metal Fishing Tackle Box Lure Design Handle Double Locking Front
Old Pal Fishing Box. Purchased new in the early 1970's and belonged to my dad. There is a large dent on one side of the box which I hit with my SUV. So you know box is sturdy. You can open and close the box, but you have to push it to line it up and does not open and close naturally on the left side. You can try to knock out the dent with a hammer and it should help. The box has minor rusting mainly on the top and shows wear and scratching all over the box. Easy to repaint exterior. The inside has three trays, the two bottom trays has 12 slots each and are 5in. in length and 1.75 in. wide. the top shelf has 7 sections with a long one in the front measuring 17.75 in. in length. The trays has some red marks from rubber worms on the top shelf in the middle and a little on the bottom shelf to the right. Nice storage in the bottom with almost ... more4 inches in height with the trays pulled out. The box measures approximately 19 in. in length, 8 inches in width and 7 inches in height. The box is original with two bolts on the bottom left side that look replaced. It is a used box, that works, that just needs some simple cleaning and a small tune-up. Very nice durable sturdy box that they don't make anymore.

This old pal tackle box and it's contents belonged to my husband before he passed away. I do not know a lot about fishing but what I learn off of internet. I measured the tackle box it measures when closed 12 inches long. 6 inches wide and 7 inches high. It's color is green it has 3 trays for lures and gear. It comes with a BANTAM SHIMANO MAGNUMLITE 2000 plus fishing reel components are graphite/titanium it looks to me to be in very good condition. Box is in overall good condition. No cracks or breaks. The interior does have some staining and there is minor surface rust on some of the hinges.
