It has a metal handle on top and is painted a deep blue. The paint is in very good condition with very few scratches and scrapes. This is a vintage Plano Molding Co. Magnum One Sided Tan and Brown Tackle Box in excellent condition. I think it's common name was the satchel. The handle has a granular look like leather. But is made of high impact plastic, very clean. Opens from the top with 18 adjustable compartments and 5 stationary. Closes tight and secure with original brass latch. Has Magnum by Plano in gold letters on the front. This is the perfect box for the lure fisherman or to display collection. Seethrough and adjustable to fit. Very solidly constructed and light weight. Dimensions of box are 12 in. X 15 in. X 2 1/2 in. You won't find this tackle box in any store. I cannot stress how solid this box is. Take a look at the pictures and decide. Vintage Barbour shoulder bag for fishing tackle, camera etc.
We are selling a Barbour shoulder bag that is 14" wide seam to seam across the front and 12" high. There are 2 front pockets with leather strap closures as well as the double leather strap closure on the front flap. The front pockets are 7" wide and 8" tall. There is an adjustable web shoulder strap and one brass ring to attach a fishing net or walking/wading staff. Inside the bag are snaps for a removable vinyl insert but the insert is missing. The strap is sewn to the bag and reinforced with a leather patch. The main flap. The small pocket flaps and the rim of the bag edges all have leather banding. This bag is in very good condition with little sign of use. This is a very well made and good sized made bag that can hold a number of fly boxes. Leaders, a spare reel and even a water bottle. I have a similar Barbour bag ... morewith a different material that I use when streamer fishing as the fly boxes tend to be larger and usually carry a bit more gear. I have also used it when hiking with my Nikon DSLR. 2 spare lenses, filters, small tripod and have room for water and a snack. Offering this bag with no reserve.
