Up for auction are 5 original reel to reel audio tapes of Rod Serling's radio program. Zero Hour. These reels are genuine first generation sent to the radio stations for broadcast. They all play beautifully with perfect sound. These five 7" reels each come in their own box. Four of the boxes include a cue sheet used by the radio announcers. The five individual boxes will be nested in the original shipping box used to send the reels from the production company to the radio station and back again. The reels represent parts 1 through 5 of the episode titled Fourth of Forever. These were originally broadcast September 24 1973 through September 28 1973. The tapes were recorded at 7-1/2 ips and are full track mono. Each reel contains about 30 minutes of pristine audio. I am no fly fisherman. But I bought this fly rod and reels quite some time ago at a garage sale thinking I would try to learn how to fly fish. Of course I could never find the time to take up the hobby and after a small amount of looking around I found that this is a classic rod. I think it's better off going to someone who will use it. It looks very old and one of the tips may have possibly been repaired but I am not sure. This includes all the reels that came with the rod. of which only 2 are complete. I have for sale a pair of fishing poles that I am selling for a friend. The first pole is a 6 foot 6 inch Shakespeare TSP66-2M rod with a Shakespeare LXIII reel. The second pole is a 6 foot 6 inch long Shakespeare Alpha SP1310 rod with a Shakespeare Alpha 040 reel. Both rod and reels appear to be in good working order. This is for the 2 Sure Strike rods you see in the pictures. These are about 8-1/2 feet long and need some work as you can see by the photos. One has old tape on the pole not sure why and don't want to take it off as it is old. There is dust on the poles too from being stored for many years. These both have the sure strike lable on them.
