The item for sale is a bookbinding finishing tool- the agate head tip is approx. 30mm wide- and overall is approx. 370mm long inc the handle. There is a tiny hairline seen to one side of the agate- the agate tip is not loose and looks to be whipped in place with tape over the whipping. The brass barrel does have some knocks and dents. No makers name. Will be posted using a cardboard box or tube. Apologies for the rise in postage charges but these have been forced on me by the draconian changes Royal Mail have made to the parcel sizes which are beyond my control- please see other message about cheaper postage via MyHermes.
