This is a used Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 5600C4 baitcasting reel. The C4 means that it has four bearings. The reel is in fantastic condition as you can see from the pictures. There are just a very few small nicks. I have tested the reel on the bench and everything appears to funtion correctly. It cranks smooth. The spool spins freely, and the drag feels strong. Vintage Garcia Mitchell 306 Spinning Reel works missing bail
This vintage Garcia Mitchell 306 spinning reel in rough shape but still works. It seems mechanicaly in good working order. Physically it has corrision. Rust, missing paint and the bail is missing(there are a couple pieces for bail attached to reel photos show them) It retrieves fine but seems a little tight. It has original instruction book. Has a quick release spool for line. I tried to undo the handle to spin it but couldn't move the lock nut. I have replaced the cam and pinion gears with new/used ones I installed a new bearing and bail assembly along with a new bail spring. All parts were striped and repainted. This is a used Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 6500 TCST Trophy Collection casting reel. It is used and has some nicks in the paint and the stick on around the rim is scuffed but works like a charm. That is. Perfectly. It has the large counter balanced cranking handle to handle the big ones, has a clicker, looks like about a 5.1:1 ratio, holds 155 yds. of 20 lb. test, has a picture on the left side plate that appears to be a stripper.
