GEP-ACTIONIZED FLY ROD( 8-&-1/2 ft. LONG) HAS 10 EYES + NORTH SHORE CF3 FLY REEL
This rod and reel set was bought at an auction. And it was pre-owned and used by someone else, I don't fly fish. The rod is a two section rod, splits in the middle, and together it measures about 8 and 1/2 feet long, it has 10 eyelits which includes the tip, and they are all tight, no loose strings. I thought it was a fiberglass rod when I bought it, but a magnet sticks to the entire rod, so its not fiberglass or alluminum. The very end cap of the handle is brass with the number 10213 on it. Then handle end where the reel goes is not metal but rather a marbled colored solid celluloid or something, and it reads: GEP ACTIONIZED ROD. I think the reel can be used Left or Right handed, by just turning the reel around? Then the handle itself is cork, and all in good condition. Vintage African Hand Carved Fly Whisk Vulture Head with inlaid red eyes
For your consideration: African Hand Carved Cattle Horn and Horse Hair Fly Whisk with handle carved to represent a Vultures Head. This fantastic piece has inlaid red eyes and also has a zig-zag pattern in metal inlaid into the top of the vultures head.Fly Whisks usually denote a person of power and prestige. The handle is made of hand carved cattle horn and measures 8 inches long and the overall length is 21 inches long. With the whisk being made of horse tail. A really nice and interesting piece it has hole in the end of the handle so it can be hung up. Purchased from a lady who traveled extensively in the 1950's and early 1960's the piece is around 50 years old and in excellent condition. The inlaid red eyes and metal inlaid in the head give this African Fly Whisk a very distinctive look.

Antique Victorian Alnwick Hardy Fly Fishing Rod Snake Eyes Cork Handle Date 1899
HARDY TEN FOOT FLY ROD. I first started fishing at the tender age of eight. Now into my sixties I have been through it all, pleasure, match, running clubs and ponds and now the more relaxing bite-less hours of carp fishing. Over the years I collected ABU and Mitchell reels and a few rods. This was my Holy Grail of tackle and took pride of place when talking vintage tackle, it is exactly as I purchased other than the annual polish I had to give it, the condition is not good but for its age I suppose that can be forgiven, the non-prefix number points to 1899 I think, the cork handle is very fair with reel rings and stop ring all intact, the rod itself has issues with the varnish in places and slight curvature that I am sure will correct, original Hardy snake eyes are correct other than one missing, the remaining ones have rusty surface again ... morethis is correct as the eyes would have been steel wire produced, the top eye is twisted, the ferrell's are the Hardy Twist Lock but are probably the worst feature of the rod, the female needs re-whipping and the male has all but lost the locking pin to rust. It is complete in a rod bag possibly original but again in poor condition. Well there it is. Probably one of the oldest Hardy rods you will see on ebay this year, needing a expert to bring it back to life or as myself just a great talking point. Vintage Fenwick Fly Rod Measures 81 1/4" with 6 Eyes Custom? Blank? Built Well
Here is a vintage used Fenwick blank fly rod that is in pretty good condition. This may have been custom made. All the eyes and threads as still intact. The cork looks to be in good condition and it looks that its been made pretty well. The rod itself when pieced together measures 81 1/4 inches in length. CUSTOM? Also there is a total of 8 eyes on the rod, 2 on the lower part and 6 on the 2nd piece or end of rod. They all look to be made really well, I would assume it was made in USA. I would date this rod back to somewhere around the early 1980s, but just my guess. The only minimal flaw to it, is that it when put together it appears there is a small(very minimal) bend to the 2nd piece. Looks like it perhaps been leaning up against a wall for a little while in storage. This is only minimal and when you look down the rod straight. I do not ... moreknow if this will affect the fishing with it, or can be fixed. Maybe it can be fixed and I would think that this rod is still fishing worthy. This is a fully built custom Angel A4 Fly. The base gun was a dust red A4 in good condition. A red A1 grip frame was added and the silver trigger and forward vernier were modified to make it work. No irreversible changes were made to the A4 body to make the frame and trigger fit. Also added was a silver A4 VSA with gauge. Red/silver A1 no-rise feedneck, red/silver A1 Fly reg, red/silver A1 on/off ASA, red A1 Fly grips, Doc's laser eyes, Virtue Redefined A1 board, soft face bolt, and Cobra valve which was ported with the body for increased air flow. VINTAGE WOODEN CREEK CHUB LURE-SURFACE DINGBAT,#5200-GLASS EYES-FLY FISHING
This wooden lure body measures 1 5/8" in length. Which lends it to be in the#5200 series, made for fly rod fishing. These are made in larger sizes in wood and in plastic. They were produced during the period of 1937 to 1956. This is an earlier one. It does not have treble looks, but rather a double hook on the belly and a double hook on the tail. Here is a nice scarce lot of salvaged rod rings. They are in good assorted used condition. Some with tarnish(see clear pictures to decide before bidding) They are snake eye fly rod rings in various types, styles and sizes and also some very old hook retainers. Most of these were salvaged from very old greenheart Scottish maker's rods which had damage and warps so are used and have some tarnish etc. These are getting harder to come by now and highly collectable.
