Offshore Big Game Rod Aftco Removable Butt Wahoo Wire Rod Aftco Guides
Up for auction is a Big Game rod that was used on a wire reel for Wahoo. The Rod I beieve to be a custom rod as I do not see a manufacturer on it. There are 3 Aftco Roller guides including the tip top which has the line guide as can be seen in the picture. The guides have some wear on them from normal use as can also be seen in the pictures. Without the Butt section the rod measures approximately 50 1/2" The Rod Butt is a Black Aftco removable butt that measures 16" from the bottom to the bend then approximately 12"from the bend up. It has a couple minor scratches from normal wear. The complete setup is very nice as there are no breaks or cracks anywhere. The rod measures 6’6" its line wt is 8-17lb. Up for grabs is a Penn 2180 2 piece bent butt 180# class offshore rod. This was a custom ordered rod direct from Penn. It is 8' overall. Has an Aftco 52 double roller at the base, two Aftco 42 single rollers, followed by two Aftco 32 single rollers, and tipped with an Aftco 28 roller tip. Rod was only used for a couple of Goliath groupers. Very clean and in excellent condition. Aluminum bent butt and reel seat. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

The blue one is not labeled but does have an Aftco Roller tip. The Penn Reels are both Senators. One is a 114-H, The other one is a 6/0. I have these 2 gaffs and a fish de-hooker I am selling as a lot. They are all like new. Grips in excellent condition and not chewed up. The custom Chaos gaff is aluminum and is 6' long and has a 4" hook. The Aftco is 40" long and has a 3" hook. I am setting shipping at 20.00. If more I will eat the cost. Up for sale are TWO AFTCO 130 lb Class Unibutts. The AFTCO sizing is that these unibutts are UB6. I have two for sale that are in really good used condition. Threads on both Butts is in excellent condition. Butt measurements for both are as follows: O.D is 1 1/2" and I.D. is 1 5/16th" These butts are for the larger 130 lb rod butts and are super hard to find. Photos show both butts that I am selling. Both these unibutts retail for well over $480 together and are super rare to find in this larger size. This is a lot of 2 vintage Fenwick big game conventional rods. They are used and described as follows: Fenwick model 821. Serial# N151976, 6'9" length, 20 LB class, Varmac NF2 reel seat, 6 stainless steel guides, AFTCO roller tip, stainless steel gimbal, foam grips. This rod is in good condition with nice shiny flexcoat, perfect shiny reel seat and gimbal, and the guide wrapping are all nice, tight, and perfect. The guides are not shiny anymore from age. Foam grips in perfect condition. Made in USA. Fenwick unknown model: the model number. Specs, and Eagle are no longer on the flexcoat. So, I believe its rated as 20-30 LB. it is 6'6" in length, 5 AFTCO Roller guides, AFTCO roller tip, gimbal, stainless steel reel seat, and foam grips. This rod has wear throughout from use. The roller guides have saltwater rash on them. Flexcoat ... morehas lost some luster. Guide wrapping has lost some color with some flexcoat chipping in a few spots. AFTCO UB6 130 CLASS SILVER UNIBUTTS Rod Butt
Up for sale is an AFTCO 130 lb Class Unibutt. The AFTCO sizing is that this unibutt is UB6. I have two for sale and both are in really good used condition. Butt measurements for both are as follows: O.D is 1 1/2" and I.D. is 1 5/16th" This is the AFTCO Butt for the larger 130 lb Class Rod. Both these unibutts retail for well over $240 each and are super rare to find in this larger size. I bought them to have a custom rod built but decided not to do it because I will not being doing enough fishing where I will need such a large rod. AGAIN THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE AFTCO UNIBUTTS. BUT I HAVE TWO I AM SELLING SEPERATELY IN THIS AUCTION.

Aftco UB6 23 1/2" straight butt with ferrule
Aftco straight but with ferrule. I believe it's a 130lb class, note that the picture with two in it is has a 30lb butt for size reference only. This was never made into a rod, but does show some tarnish and scratches.

Vintage Big Game Rod Aftco Sila-Flex Varmac Reel Seat Nautical Antique
Up for auction are 3 vintage saltwater big game rods. The rods all appear to be custom built with no manufacture markings on the blanks. One rod has all aftco rollers. One has stainless steel ring guides, the last has conventional casting guides with aftco live bait casting roller tip and ring. The reel seat on the all roller is made by Sila-flex of Costa Mesa California and the other 2 reel seats are made by Varmac. No guides are missing on any of the rods. Rods show signs of use and saltwater environment. Overall in good condition for their age. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks
