Vintage 1966 Stella by Harmony H929 Sunburst Acoustic Guitar with Original Case(Rare) Full size 36 3/8"H x 13"W x 3 3/4"D Leather Strap included. Very Nice Plays very nice I have had a few of these guitars and this is by far the best. Everything is orginal and very nice. The original case has some surface on the latches. You never see these with the original case. The neck is straight. Neck is firmly attached to the body with no separation where it meets. No separation from tops and sides. The strings are a little less than 3/16" inch high off the fretboard at the 12th fret. No Reserve!

Vintage Mandolin..Harmony Stella..Stunning Restoration
Here we have a stunning Harmony Stella Mandolin circa 1930. The back panel was removed and all bracing and supports were glued and new maple supports were added as needed. The neck was checked and strightned and secured from the inside so it will not loosen. Back panel was replaced and a channel was cut for a new top binding. On this model the binding is painted on originally. But this one now has a real binding. I was able to save the original peghead logo. I then used a mahogany dye to bring out the beautiful grain on this mandolin. I the complete the finish with nitrocellulose lacquer and hand rub and wax for a beautiful high gloss finish. I reused the tuners, tailpiece and rosewood bridge complete with the undamaged bone insert. I sanded the rosewood fretboard and dressed and leveled the frets and they are both in excellent condition. ... moreI installed new D'Addario medium gage strings and a new"Tusq" brand nut. Action is slightly high at about.075" 080" but is still easy to play with a very traditional, sweet tone with a nice clear sustain. 1930's Birch Beauty Regal, Stella? Parlor Guitar w. Case and Extras
Here's another birch. Parlor size guitar with a sunburst finish out of Chicago in the glory days of stringed instrument manufacturing in the 30's. This one is in good condition overall, with some scratches and minor surface cracking on the top. The pictures show the imperfections pretty clearly. Neck joint is tight, original tuners work fine, all frets, tailpiece, bridge, original nut are in place and in good condition. A few things make this guitar stand out- The neck angle. Which is unusually good. The action is low and very playable all the way up the neck. And better yet is the personal flavor of this one owner. It was evidently Delbert Anderson's guitar and includes his old steel slide with finger wear marks from lots of practice time earning the gold stars rewarding him for his efforts on the included sheet music. I had them set up and the repairman said that this one set up nicely. This guitar was most likely built in the mid-1960's. I like this guitar a lot. But I don't use it much anymore. It was found in its original case covered in dirt and rust.As I cleaned it up I found one of the best examples of a vintage Stella that I have ever seen. Free worldwide shipping UP for grabs is an Improvement bridge that will work on any guitar that has a tailpiece and uses a floating bridge.This bridge will take out a lot of the TWANG/BOXIE sound that is so familiar with the old solid birch guitars. 1969 Stella USA H927 Birch Parlor Guitar w/Case
Stella 1967 H927 Birch Parlor Guitar w/Case A nice vintage parlor guitar. This guitar is in great PLAYED shape. Sounds great and stays in tune. Finger wear on the first two frets from being played. The back of the body has a minimal amount of surface scratches from being played(no gouges) and the soundboard is clean. The binding around the body has a bit of flaking on a couple areas. Vintage Stella/Harmony 12 String Guitar Model H912
Up for bid is a wonderful old Stella Harmony 12 string guitar. It is a model H912. Made between 1964 and 1968. The date stamp inside the guitar is very difficult to read to get the exact year. These old Stellas were all hardwood and were the"student" model 12 string of the day. Both Blind Willie McTell and Leadbelly played guitars similar to this one. I have repaired a cracked head block and a face crack and reglued the top in several locations. The guitar is now quite stable(I have been playing it for several months and it holds tune pretty well and plays and sounds great) The neck is straight and it is strung with Ernie Ball Earthwood light strings. I tuned it a half step low and capo on the first fret to play at concert pitch. These old 12 strings should never be tuned to concert pitch. The catalog stated"CAUTION-A 12-string ... moreguitar should not be tuned up to regular 6-string guitar pitch. Experienced players recommend tuning three or four half tones lower, to avoid pulling up the guitar top or bowing the neck. The action is pretty low, measuring 5/32" at the 12th fret. The truss rods works fine. The saddle and bridge are original and have not been shaved so there is room to lower the action. The tuners are original and in pretty good condition for being 45+ years old. They do tune and hold tune. The finish is original with some touchup from the repairs but there are some some dings and dents that you would expect on an instrument of this age. It still has that nice vintage mojo. The crack on the top is shown in two different photos. The original pick guard and screws are included but not installed on the guitar. As with most of the pickguards there are cracks were the pick guard was screwed to the body. Please note that this guitar is being sold with strings and in playable condition. For sale: One 1973 Harmony Stella H6134 acoustic guitar. This guitar looks very nice considering its age. The worst spot is on the back of the guitar below the heel. There is scratching in that area that I tried to photograph. The action is high as it usually is on these Stellas. That is part of why they have become so popular for slide guitar. There is a little bit of bulge in the guitar top behind the bridge, but that is to be expected on the these guitars. The case pictured is included. I do not know if it is original, but it fits the guitar pretty well. The guitar itself is all original. STELLA SOVEREIGN OSCAR SCHMIDT VIOLIN SHAPE GUITAR, 1920'S, VERY RARE, ORIGINAL
This is an extremely rare Oscar Schmidt Stella Sovereign violin shape guitar from the 1920's. One owner. Came from an estate west of Philadelphia. The guitar is all original. Right down to the rope strap. The guitar does have two issues. The first is that the top has sunk under the bridge. The second is that the guitar will need a neck set. The neck is straight, but has shifted over the past 90 yrs. The guitar is all solid mahogany. Body measures 14 1/4" across at the lower bout. No cracks. The guitar does have fairly extensive laquer checking. I thru new strings on it, but did not bring it up to tension. Nice heavy duty tailpiece. Brazilian rosewood bridge. Original pickguard still intact. The neck shows little playing wear, but is also laquer checked. The Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and frets show little wear. Very nice Vintage Harmony Stella H-927 Guitar. Made in USA in the 60s, in great refurbished condition This is the natural finish version of the H-929 guitar. Ladder braced blues machine This guitar features all solid wood. Solid birch top and solid birch back and sides This lucky guitar has just received a whole lot of attention! The neck has been removed and reset. The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished The original tuners are all there and intact. But a couple of them are a little stiff A beautiful new floating bridge has been made of of solid mahogany The guitar is missing the pickguard and shows some glue residue and holes where it was There are some nicks and scratches as well as some finish flaws and fading as seen in the pics Overall. This is a used Stelle Equipe Course cottered crank arms. It dates from about 1940s to 1950s. Most of the chrome is gone from the arms and there is a good deal of rust but they are quite solid and could be rechromed. This is a rare piece from one of the oldest names in France.

Vintage Stella hubset 36 hole 120 OLD French threaded Huret luxe wing nuts used
This vintage Stella hubset is used and from the 1940s or early 1950s. They are drilled for 36 spokes and threaded for a French freewheel. The actual OLD is 120mm. They have some marks from the spokes some minor scrapes and scuffs but are in good condition especially considering their age(probably late 40's to early 50's) Mechanically they are in quite surprisingly good shape. They spin very smoothly with barely perceptible play. The Huret Luxe wing nuts that they came with are also in good shape. Perfect for a vintage Stella restoration. Remember. VINTAGE STELLA H928 3/4 Acoustic Guitar
Very good condition. All original parts with new Strings. The instrument has been cleaned, polished and set up to play fine. The neck is decent and top is flat. This would make an excellent beginning guitar or a nice fit for a young lady to play. Very distinctive tone and projection. There are three minor cracks on the sides and back(see photos) a small separation in the sound hole near the fingerboard, but should not be a major issue, The date code is very very faint but looks to be"S 72 fs" which means it was built in the spring of 1972 and is a factory second. I am not aware of what the factory second could have been, but it doesn't seem to interfere with it's playability. As you can see from the pictures, this is a nice looking instrument that is very playable, with typical nicks and scratches for being 40 years old.

This is the Full size Flat-Top ... moremade between 1968 and 1970. This stamped S-69' Also with a stamped" sign above date. Steel Reinforced Neck" It is all original including the bridge pins. Original factory bridge saddle height. Rare to find one of these without a crack and in virtually near mint condition. 14 frets clear of body. Cosmetic issues listed in condition section, but very minor and usually not mentioned in similar listings for a 45 year old guitar. Super clean. Here's a fu n little guitar. This thing got kicked around but I don't thing it was played much. Neck set looks good& the frets look good. Slight wear on the top fret at two high strings. There's a slight bow to the neck puts fret to string high at 1/4"at the 14th fret. Has original bone nut& saddl e. There's no fret buzz& saddle could be lowered to drop the action. Bridge has crack between string pi ns although it seems to be working fine. The top is pretty flat. Finish looks origina l with dings& scr atches. All that sai d it plays& sounds really good& has a great low fast slide guitar action.

He told me it was from the 50's, it works well but it needs a bit of set up, as you can see, it's complete and the wood. Is beautiful! It has a wooden nut. Philip screws so that makes me believe it was made in the USA. Other than what I've listed and taken pictures of. The edges do have dings but nothing magor There are a few scratches as well but look at the pictures and judge for yourself. The only bad thing on this whole guitar in my opinion is the sticker around the sound hole. As you can see in the pictures it's been played off to the one side and is lifting in other areas. If it were me I would probably steam it off completely and either stain the ring area around the sound hole or paint the area a gloss black to mach the head stock and fret board. That would really look make the body pop. I just put a brand ... morenew set of strings on this guitar. It has that great Stella blues sound to it. Everything on this guitar is original as far as I know. This was a really nice find. It was well taken care of and as yo can see from the sticker around the ring where it was played; very well loved as well. I would keep this guitar but I have way too many.
