The clicker works and the reel operates smoothly. I am not an expert on t hese reels. So I am describing w hat I see here. Cosmetically. The chrome has oxidized in a few places. This is an Ocean Master big game rod by Offshore Angler and MADE IN THE USA. It is model OM 3080 IGFA. Heavy, 30-80 LB test line, has a detachable Stuart aluminum butt, with Stuart roller guides, and Aftco swivel roller tip. It looks like the rod was modified because it measures 5'10" in length and has that Aftco swivel roller tip attached where maybe the rod was made shorter(see photo) There is also electrical tape at the 5 foot mark on the rod where roller guide#4 would have been. So I believe guide#4 came off and electrical tape was placed there to cover up the empty spot. Also, guide#5 is bent(see photos) So, 3 Stuart roller guides in good shape and 1 Stuart roller guide is bent. The Aftco roller swivel tip is in fine condition. This is a vintage Ccean City. 6/0, rod and reel combo. The model 806 is the saddle style with the reel built into the rod. The reel works fine and the rod is in good condition I see one chip in the bamboo, can see in last pic. There are some markings on the rod but cannot make them out. The rod is 7ft long overall, it was made to come appart however it seems very tight and I don't want to break anything. I think this will have to be local pick-up, don't know how I would ship it! There are 10 pictures- 3 pictures of the line guide that needs attention Offered for sale is a SAGE FLY ROD for Large Game fish. This is a 2 piece- 10' 8 weight graphite fly rod. The model is SAGE GRAPHITE III GFL 8100 RPLB. The rod comes complete with the Sage heavy duty travel rod and reel case. The rod was stored in a garage so the travel case is dusty and has a little storage dirt from the garage. The hard tube case appears in the pictures cleaner than it is. I think the rod is a couple years old but I am not certain of its exact age The rod has seen very little use-the cork handle is NEW looking with no handling marks. The rod itself looks new and has very shiny finish. I really do not know if the rod has ever been used or not. I am calling it used(maybe! There is 1 LINE GUIDE that need some attention on the tip section. I think ... morethe rod has been removed from the storage case carelessly and this line guide wrapping is frayed some. This is the first line guide on the tip section. Picture show exactly what I am talking about. The rod can be used either for FRESH or SALTWATER BIG GAME FISHING. I only used it on inland fresh water lakes for Musky four or five times. It didn't work out too well for me as I prefer a 4 1/2 to 5 foot que stick type of rod for Musky. When I troll for Musky. I prefer to hold the rod by hand and work the lure for better action. As you can see by the pictures, all the eyelets, tip, wraps and foam handles are very nice. Vintage Mid 1900's Big Game Deep Sea Fishing Rod& Reel Combo Oak Rod#1 Vintage Fishing Rod and Reel Combo Up for sale we have this awesome vintage rod and reel combo This is a large heavy-duty rod and reel used for big game fishing and/or deep sea fishing I don't know much about it or who the maker is. I'm guessing there must have been a paper label on it at one time that is gone now This is a 2 piece set. The rod detaches from the reel and by the square fitting on the end of the rod(pic 16) this can be adjusted for either right or left handed sportsman The rod is made of solid oak and has 3 heavy-duty eyelets with the eyelet on the end that swivels. The rod itself is approximately 50" long and has a slight bend to it The reel is large and heavy. It's 6-3/4" in diameter and weighs about 5 lbs and that includes ... morethe original copper fishing line. The length including the handle is about 16.75" The total length of the fishing pole as one unit is about 65-3/8" long In pic 17 that would be a locking mechanism to lock the reel in place. If the round spacer at the top is turned to the left it lowers the upside down T-shaped mechanism down on the reel and keeps it from spinning. When it's turned to the right it raises it and allows it to spin It's in good used condition with normal wear from being used over the years. There are minor scratches on it from use. It appears to be in good working condition. It could use a good cleaning I'm not sure what kind of metal this is made of. But it appears to be made of a corrosion-free material like aluminum maybe or something similar I'm not sure of the exact age. But would guess maybe around the 1950's give or take I have another rod and reel combo almost identical to this one also listed. It is in good condition, little rod holder rub on butt, one scuff on guide winding, very light surface staining on guides, reel seat smooth. It has all Turbo type guides, which I found great for braid line.

Vintage Custom Big Game Rod w/ Aluminum Tycoon Fin-Nor Miami Roller Guides RARE
This is a Rare Vintage find from a Key West. Florida estate sale. This is the second of two identical rods I acquired. The first rod I sold on eBay already. It is a Vintage Heavy Big Game Trolling Rod that was custom built by Beach Bait& Tackle Shop in Ft. Lauderdale. Florida. The rod has 5 Vintage Tycoon Fin-Nor Miami Aluminum Roller Guides. The rod is in very good condition considering its age. The Tycoon Fin-Nor Guides are in very good condition and numbered underneath in sizes 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. The Roller Top Guide is an AFTCO size 26. The guides are all silver in color, and the rollers all roll cleanly. This Big Game rod is 6'11" in length. And has an Aluminum Butt with Gimbal, and Aluminum Reel Seat. I believe the Aluminum Butt is detachable, but I am not sure. It looks like it is, but I cannot remove it, and I don't ... morewant to force it. The foregrip is, i believe, cork and covered with a fuzzy blue material. There is a small chipping section on the top of this foregrip near the reel seat, allowing me to see, what I believe to be cork underneath. Also, a small chipping section of foregrip on the top near where the rod begins. The flexcoat is in good condition. I would rate this rod in the 80- 130 LB class. SABRE STROKER BIG GAME ROD - ALL AFTCO ROLLER GUIDES - TAKE DOWN HANDLE - BEAUTY
I got this at an estate sale and just passing it along. The rod is used but looks to have been hardly fished as there is no rash at all. Guaranteed. Even the Aftco roller guides look new. The total length of the rod is 7' 4" with the handle section at 20" 7 total Roller guides including the tip and there are no issues with either the guides or wraps. I tried to locate the poundage etc but none are on the rod. I asked the gentleman at the sale about the rod and he told me that it was given as a present several years ago and has since been in the garage. He thought it was rated for 80-150 pound line but was sort of unsure. Either way it's a beauty and if not 100% happy then send it back for a full refund. Thanks for looking and tight lines to all.
