Up for auction is a used Custom Made Bud Erhardt Pro Guide Fishin Stick Casting Rod. This rod is 6' 11" long(2-pieces) And I think it's a Medium Light, but I can't be sure since it's not listed on the rod. Since this is a custom made rod and the data for the rod isn't listed I'm not sure of the line weight or other specifics. This rod would make an awesome crappie rod, but you could also have a ton of fun catching bass with this rod! There appears to be very nice guides on this rod as well, gold trimmed and in very good shape. Also, the guides to this rod are in a spiral format, which means they work around the blank to the bottom side. St. Croix custom 6'6" SCV graphite (Legend Elite) baitcasting rod
For sale is a used. Custom-built St. Croix baitcaster. The blank is actually a spinning rod blank 5S66MF(SCV graphite used in the Legend Elite rods) I had created into a baitcaster. It has a shorter handle(about 7.5 inches from the butt to the trigger) I selected to use for light poppers and other topwaters. It's rated as Medium power, Fast action. 6-12 lb test, 3/16 to 5/8 oz lures. It's in very good shape. There's a few scratches and a small scrap on the label. It's about 7 years old or so and it has the"green" color blank. It's very lightweight and looks very sharp. For example, with a Curado. Works well with lighter baits, but I just always found myself using spinning tackle instead of casting tackle. Please ask any and all questions before bidding and I'll try to answer the best I can. Vintage Custom Hardy Scepter Fiberglass Fly Rod 7 1/2" Excellent
7 1/2 foot. Two piece, 5 weight custom built Hardy Scepter Fiberglass Fly Rod. I purchased this blank from Fly Fishernan's Bookcase back in the 1970's and built the rod using black snake guides, black stripper guide, black tip top, deep copper color reel seat hardware with a wood insert. Down locking reel seat. The Septer is S-Glass and comprable to the Scientific Angler System series of fibergass rods. Blank color is dark brown, so I used brown thread wraps, with no color preserver so they are transparent. The wraps seem to disappear against blank. Hook keeper has a tiny ring. The blank has a glass spigot ferrule so there is no dead spot when casting. This fiberglass rod is capable of using a DT 5 line, WF4 or if you push it a WF 5 or even a DT6. I always used a DT5. This rod saw action in many small to medium size steams and rivers ... morein Montana and Wyoming in the 70's and 80's. Great small stream rod with delicate presentation, light weight and enough power to fish with on breezy days. Comes in a aluminum tube and a cloth bag. Excellent condition, with minor fishing wear.
