You are buying a very nice custom built conventional rod perfectly matched for an ambassaduer 7000 20-30lb class. This rod stands 83 inches tall and has seven guides plus tip. This rod has normal wear and tear with a few scratches on the guides. The handle grips are strong and have only minor flaking. The reel seat and screw rings are in excellent condition. Happy bidding. J. K. Fisher is 10'4" total length. It's wrapped conventional. Rated 2 to 6oz.w/8 Fuji sic guides, AAA ring cork handle, graphite Fuji trigger reel seat. It was re-wrapped/re-built and extended 4" by Mike at M&D Tackle near the Ditch/ Cape Cod Canal. The distance from the butt to the trigger is about 23.75" The cork butt, guides and wraps are all in good shape. The blank is good. The only minus is that the glossy finish coat on the blank is about gone. I had this matched up with both a Newell P229 and an Abu 7000 Big Game. Great surf or jetty stick, plugs, pencils, bucktails for stripers. I simply have too many rods and have an older Lamiglas which is pretty similar in action and ratings. This is too long to ship. You are bidding on a used ElectraMate Hawaiian 1200 Electric Reel assembly with a Penn 9-0 Senator reel. And a Brand New custom 5 1/2' rod with AFTCO Rollers. The reel is spooled with 80 lb. Marlin Braid skinny line. The reel has some exterior"crud" on the chrome from normal use and storage. But it is in good working condition with a new 10' power cord. The gear housing has a few exterior stress cracks by several of the screws. 2 battery clips are included with the reel, but not installed. Shipment will be in 2 packages, a tube for the rod and a box for the reel. The reel motor has been tested and appears to work fine.

Book is in Acceptable condition with dust jacket. Jacket is worn and chipped but intact. The book has been well protected by the jacket and is still bright with embossed title on spine. The text block. While solid and tight, is beginning to separate from the spine. There are no loose pages(as stated, binding is tight) but there are a few places where the text block has been'broken' at the interior hinge, exposing the binding glue. Aside from some minor foxing(discoloration from age and acidity of the paper) the pages are clean and free from tears or marks. This is a good book with plenty of life left in it.
