This is a beautiful float rod built by Dj at Infinity Rod Creations and dubbed"Latte Sunrise" by him. I'm selling this rod because I have only used it a couple of times in the year I've had it. My other two rods by Dj are pretty much my go to rods which leaves this one left out. So. It needs a new home. Nat Uslan Custom 7 1/2' 5/6 wt Bamboo Fly Rod w/ 2 tips EX NR *penta*
This auction is for a Nat Uslan custom built bamboo fly rod in excellent condition. This two piece. Two tip, five-strip split cane rod is 7 ft 6 inches long and rated for a 6wt line. It is an unusual Uslan that according to the previous owner was custom built for Jim Shaaf when he came to fish in Florida and visited Uslan. There is unfortunately nothing included with the rod to authenticate this clai m. However the rod is exceptionally finished and one of the nicest Uslan rods I have seen- possibly from a kit or a professionally restored original. Uslan's 7 1/2 ft fly rod model was apparently inked 120 back in the 40's- then it became the 7550 and finally the 7613 later in the 50's(as it is 7 ft 6 inches long and apparently uses a size 13 ferrule) Definitely a Florida era rod from the label used on the tube as this was part of ... morethe cover of his rod catalogs with the later Florida address. Wraps are Burgundy tipped gold w/ brown in the signature wraps and base of ferrules. Cork handle is in very good to excellent condition showing slight use- with an unusual wood front piece or grip check with matching wood spacer in the up-locking reel seat. Rod is inked Custom Uslan on one flat above the handle and 7 1/2' 120 7613#6 on the other side. A very powerful rod for the weight at 4.125 oz's on my digital scale. A very smooth casting rod- handled a DT5 beautifully and shoots line well- might like WF6 best but didn't have to try. Rod comes with sock and tube- believed to be original. White& black in color. All eyelets are intact and in great condition as well as the wraps. There are no nicks in the rod. The handle is turned cork rings with black reel seats. This rod was a great rod for me and has great action all the way through the handle. I typically tight lined with it for bluegill. It is 32 inches from butt to tip. I am not an expert on vintage fishing rods. But I believe this would be considered very good condition and hard to find like this. There are 6 pcs. I believe this is a 6.5 ft model. Comes with original zippered padded case. Cork on handle is very good. This is the custom 370 by South Bend. It if fiberglass I believe. The very end piece does not fit tightly like the rest due to the fact it is missing the metal part that inserts into the female end. You can see this in one of the pictures. I have a custom Stand-Up Fishing Rod. It's 5'10" long. It has an aftco roller tip top. Roller Big Foot Stripper guide and Fuji sic guides, pacbay reel seat and slickbutt. The rod has just been rewrapped by Fishin' Days Custom Rods. It's in a nice metallic green with lime green and silver accents. A really nice chevron butt wrap using black, lime green, metallic green and silver. Buyer to pay actual shipping for this rod. They call it the Hot Rod and it was built for the 2003 Namm show. This guitar is in mint condition and has been lightly played. No scratches. Dings or fretwear. This guitar came from the factory with: the Expression System Pickups. Gold Grover tuners, the natural color top and a Florentine cut out. Flames are INLAID into the neck and body. She is a beauty, sounds as good as she looks, and gets lots of attention whenever she comes out to play. There are only 96 HR-LTDs in existence. They were made in Jumbo and Grand Auditorium sizes. With each body style made in a mix of both black bodies(with black top) and red bodies(with natural top) That equates to about 24 of each style/ color(although ... morethere seems to be more black ones than natural ones floating around) I have tried to get specific numbers from Taylor and have been told that they had not kept records at the time, so the actual numbers of each body style/ color built simply does not exist. 2 Shimano Tiagra 80w reel Custom 130lb rod big game combos - Tuna, Marlin, Shark
This auction is for 2 complete rod/reel combos for big game fish(marlin. Blue fin tuna, etc. We used these for fishing Blue Fin Tuna off the North Carolina coast. We only got to use them a total of 4 or 5 times before we sold the boat. The reels are 80 lb class while the custom made rods are 130 lb class. Included in this auction: 2 Shimano Tiagra 80w two speed reels that are almost new with boxes. 1 is spooled with 150lb spider wire braid. While the other is spooled with 100lb Diamond Mono hivis yellow. 2 Custom made 130 class big game all roller rods. The rods are in great shape. The foam grips have a few small picks in the foam. The rods are 5'6" long without the bent butt, and just over 7' 9" with the bent butt attached. Each rod has a total of 6 Aftco rollers including: Aftco#52 Stripper Guide Aftco#42 Guide Aftco#42 ... moreGuide Aftco#32 Guide Aftco#32 Guide Aftco#28 Tip Top Guide 2 Pacific Bay Aluminum Bent Butts. Black. The butts are matched by number to the rods. Both have very minor scuffs from the reel seet and where they sit in the rod holders. CUSTOM WRAP SALTWATER BIG GAME CONVENTIONAL BOAT FISHING ROD PENN SENATOR COLORS
Please read entire description prior to bidding* You are buying the item(s) in the picture(s) One custom wrapped saltwater big game rod about the same diameter as a Penn Senator 9/0. This auction is for the rod on the LEFT in the picture which is about 77 inches long with 4 guides and a roller tip. Both rods were wrapped by the same local guy about 15 years ago to look like a Penn Senator rod. Please note this is NOT a Penn Senator. It just looks like one. This rod does have a gimble on the end of the wooden butt. It does show a little bit of wear and light corrosion on the guides, but no major damage. It appears as though the epoxy has some air bubbles in it that never escaped when it was finished, this is only a cosmetic flaw and does not affect the function of the rod.
