These are 79" American Made Fisherman's Paradise(of Miami FL) fiberglass fishing rods. I used these rods growing up as a kid on my grandfather's boat. They have 5 Aftco stainless steel rollers. The fiberglass runs into the butt of the rod. These rods had Penn Senator 6/0 reels on them and were used for big salt water game fishing. Custom made 8 wt.9' graphite fly rod 4 piece tiger eye
Beautiful custom made 8 weight 4 piece 9' graphite fly rod. This fine rod was fished once on a steelhead weekend in Northeastern Ohio. It looks new. I can't find any scratches nor marks on the rod. It was crafted on a Sevier Mfg. root beer colored blank that displays(spiral) tiger eye figuring when shown in sunlight. The wraps are dark chocolate brown with medium blue. Metallic accents. The guides,double locking reel seat, and hook keeper are Pacific Bay. The reel seat is aluminum with a titanium finish. The cork grip is full wells. This medium fast fly rod sports a detachable fighting butt and end cap. All of these components are salt water ready. The inscriptions are in silver ink and read: 9'0" 8 WT. There is a partial H&I decal. It was likely a Tonka Prince or Tonka Queen model of H&I rod. I would estimate it would match nicely with a one or two weight fly line based on the taper and action of the rod. The 5 ¾” cork handle and screw down lock reel seat are in great condition. There are three snake eye guides on the mid section and an agate stripper guide on the bottom section. All of the snake eye guides are new and all guides have been custom wrapped. Then cleaned and buffed with 3-different compounds, and then 3-coats of wax and buffed one more time for a mirror like finish. All rubber rings have been replaced, flipper assemblies have been fully rebuilt along with new chrome flipper bats. Led light bulbs installed to match the color scheme of the playfield and backbox artwork. The bus has been customized to go along with the theme of the game. A custom one of a kind shooter rod that was built just for this machine. All of the following has been treated to custom show quality show chrome as follows. Siderails, lockdown bar, legs, leg bolts, backbox hinges, flipper batts, flipper buttons, and inside side mirrors.
