VINTAGE CUSTOM SOUTH BEND SPLIT BAMBOO FLY FISHING ROD This auction is for a vintage custom refinished four piece 9’ South bend split bamboo fly fishing rod. There is no South bend label however the Comficient cork handle and lite lock reel seat are characteristic of a South Bend rod. It is likely a Model 57 or 59 based on the taper and action. Three sections measure 37” and the mid section is 35 ½” I would estimate the fly line weight to be a solid six. The aforementioned cork handle and reel seat are in very good functional condition. There are four snake eye guides on the mid section and five on each tip section. There is a stripper guide and hook keeper on the bottom section. All of the snake eye guides are new. The snake eye guide near the male ferrule on the mid section is missing a partial wrap but it is very tight. Hello! Up for acution is an amazing Penn Jigmaster 500 with a full Accurate Conversion with the super RARE GREEN Side Plates and Frame The reel works great and I have used it for a long time. The reel also has the hard to find and very expensive Newell 5-1 Gear Kit already installed in it. The rod is a Custom wrapped with the big Fuji ceramic guides. Hello! This is the holy grail of snapper rods! This combo is amazingly fast and tons a backbone. The reel is a Penn 4/0 High Speed with a complete Newell Broadbill Conversion which makes it extra wide. It also has the amazing and VERY hard to find Newell 4-1 Gear kit already installed. I had a Accurate Power Handle put on it for that extra torque. The Rod is a beautiful Custom wrapped Key Largo rod Its 50lb class and has only been used once. I put around 300 yards of 60lb Spectra Braid on it for Grouper Jigging here in South Florida. I really hate to see this combo go but im trying to buy a house. SET Rare Hawthorn Bicycle Skirt Guards with Chain Guard Custom Hot Rat Rod Deco
Thank you for looking at my old skirt guards with chain guard from a 26 inch ladies ballooner bicycle. These are Hawthorne from the post war period- 1950s. As you know. Hawthorne bicycles were sold by Montgomery Ward and through the catalogs. There has been no cleaning on these, just pulled from my collection, but someone repainted them red before I got them. As you probably know, these sheet metal pieces installed on a girl's or ladies bicycle at the front of the rear fender& over the chain drive and the unit partially enclosed the rear wheel. They would keep loose clothing, like skirts and dresses and long coats from getting back into the spokes, causing problems. People like them today because they give a distinctive streamlined Art Deco look to either an original or a custom bicycle, even a boys bicycle. I've seen many skirt ... moreguards grafted into a boys frame just for style. The rear fender can be bobbed in a line that looks right with the top of the skirt, for a"dressed bobber" look. I may have just made that up(but the term does not have a copyright) These are not all bent up like many you see. Not perfectly straight, but pretty good. For a Hot Rod Rat Rod cruiser project they usually have to be finessed in place and they will fit different frames differently, so please check out the frame you want to use and ask questions. There's a rubber donut underneath on the cup holder that acts as a cushion against the glass.it also acts as an eccentric.you rotate it to set the tray level depending on the angle of your side window. These are hard to find because of their unique small size.just 6" x 10"perfect for your favorite beverage and a burger. I would date them to the late 1940's or 1950's.I've had them 25 years and they were really old when I got them! Straight and solid.made of heavy stamped steel.some of the paint is worn away and tarnishing from sitting on a shelf. The colors on the marble is two shades of red, chrome, a little white, and black. There are eight( 8) guides and tip on this rod. This pole/rod is approximately seven( 7) feet or 84 inches in length. The Fuji reel seat is approximately 16 1/2 inches(measures were the reel would be seated) from the end cap. The fishing rod/pole is very nice and can be used for casting, trolling and yoyo style. Hot Rod Fender Musicmaster Bass / tweed Princeton in a custom Champ cabinet.

This item is a hot rodded 1971 Fender Musicmaster Bass amp converted to a'50s"tweed" Princeton. The ingredients: It's built on a'71 Fender Musicmaster Bass Amp chassis. It's in a custom cabinet cut for a 10" speaker. I used a tone ring to adapt it to an 8" speaker. The circuit board is 5F1"tweed" Champ. I added a tone control to make it a"tweed" Princeton. The power transformer is'73 Princeton Reverb. So: It's a Musicmaster Bass/ Tweed Champ/ Tweed Princeton with a heavy duty SF Princeton transformer. It's in a custom Champ cabinet cut for a 10" speaker with a tone ring to ... moreadapt it to an 8" speaker. Got that? Tube lineup is 5Y3. 6V6 and 12AX7. It's not complicated to repair if necessary, simply use the'50s tweed Champ schematic. It probably won't ever need repair. Almost everything inside is new or NOS. The only used parts are the speaker, the'73 Princeton Reverb power transformer and the chassis. You can use any 10" 8 ohm speaker or any 8" 8 ohm speaker. The power supply is overbuilt. The transformers are oversized so this will likely run wide open into 4 ohms with no problems. This makes about 5 watts into 8 ohms. It has a more agressive overdrive tone than a Musicmaster Bass Amp or a'60s Champ. The original Musicmaster Bass circuit was a mess. It looked like every solder joint had been re-soldered with a cigarette lighter. Almost every wire was burnt. No worries. I stripped it to a bare chassis rebuilt it. This item is seller refurbished with new or NOS parts. It is sold in"AS-IS" condition to U.S. bidders ONLY. NO EXPORT! AS-IS" means"AS-IS" I have much more time into this than I'm getting paid for. 10' 5wt custom fly rod with crosswater reel
The rod: it is a 10' with detachable fighting butt. Aluminum reel seat, 5 wt. 4 piece. This was one of the first rods I built, the snakes are a bit oversized for a 5 wt. but it loads well and casts nice. Great rod for high sticking. There are no markings on the rod. The reel: is a used redington crosswater series large arbor 4.5,6 wt. this reel like the rod is hardly used. Thank you for looking. It had the early ABU GARCIA AMBASSADEUR 6000 red reel on it that I also have in auction this week. The rod is a 2 piece fiberglass fishing rod. It has the old style wire line guides(heavy duty style) The rod is only marked with the name DICK Babcock Eugene. Oregon. I don't know if that was the maker of the rod or the previous owners name. Custom Made Med / HD Conventional Salt Water Rod
You are bidding on an older custom made. One piece, medium/ heavy duty conventional salt water fishing rod. This rod was custom made for me by a rod maker working out of a tackle shop in Rhode Island and used exclusively for yellowfin tuna fishing off the New England coast. The rod is 85 inches long with six Fuji hardloy guides and is in very good condition. Perfect rod for chunking yellowfin, shark fishing, or even for deep jigging cod fish. I caught yellowfin to 90 lbs with no problem other then very sore arms! I am retired and living in Tennessee and this rod doesn't work very well for crappie and large mouth bass so I am looking for a good home for this rod.
