It is a standard 3mm by 16mm pan-head metric screw and can be purchased at most hardware stores. Attaching the Knob Shaft. Place the ball bearing onto the handle spindle. Position it at the bottom of the spindle. Place the shaft over the bearing on the spindle. Place the screw which you removed from the original knob into the top of the retainer. The top of the retainer is wider than the bottom section. Place the retainer with the screw into the top of the shaft and tighten the screw. If the knob is a little loose on the handle. You may tighten it up by adding 1 or 2 of the shims to the retainer. Keep in mind. I test all Adapter Kits with my Daiwa handles to screen my knobs and retainers for proper operation. However. Spool spins effortlessly.I would give it a M10 but since the drag isn't as aggressive as a PENN reel, maybe it is a little worn. 2 Daiwa Saltist BG50H Conventional Reels in EXCELLENT Condition!
Up for grabs are two Daiwa Saltist BG50H Conventional reels in excellent shape! They were just taken apart and regreased with Penn Precision Reel Grease. They are both spooled with line. One has 65 lb braid and the other has 30 lb mono. They both have Carbontex drag washers as well. Both in similar condition. But one has a few more scratches on the side plate. See pictures. These sell for $210 each + tax in the stores, and thats before you get to the line. This is a great deal for someone who needs a good couple deep drop reels!
