Purchased new for a short-range tuna trip that I went on(not to be confused with the long-range tuna trip that I never did go on) Took on several other trips. But I think that I used it only a few times. Stored inside the house inside of a reel case. I will say that the hybrid fluorocarbon line is as close to new as it gets. Comes with original box. Very much like new shine and condition other than some very superficial scratches on the outside of the finish of the left side which, because of the flash, look far worse in the picture than they actually do in person. Also, very minor nicks to finish of reel seat and to body from when the reel was on the line winding machine.

For sale is an early model Daiwa Sealine 900H Offshore Trolling Reel. Manufactured in Japan this reel is in what I would consider very good plus or maybe even excellent minus condition. Cosmetically the reel has some rash near the bottom of the reel and a little on the edges. But overall, there is nothing major. Mechanically the reel probably needs a service but has a strong clicker. Smooth free spool release, sensitive star drag and a very smooth turning handle. The reel comes with a factory installed rod clamp four frame mounted supports on the top of the reel for a lanyard. A complete set of papers, including warranty, owners, manual and catalog plus wrench and lubricant. Based on the original receipt for the reels they are circa the mid 1980s. These are part of a larger group of reels that I purchased so I have never had the opportunity to use them. But they appear to be in very good condition. They are clean with only a small amount of rash and no chips or dents. All of the decals are intact and complete. Mechanically these reels appear to be in very good condition. They have strong clickers. Smooth free spool release levers, very sensitive star drags, smooth line guides and very smooth turning handles. A nice. Used Daiwa Sealine 400H deep sea fishing reel loaded with what looks and feels like stainless steel wire cable. I've never used this reel but it seems to work fine, no sign of salt corrosion. It's a big heavy reel, the drum is 3 1/2 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches in diameter and the handle is 3 inches long. It weighs just over 3 pounds.

Vintage Daiwa Sealine 27H conventional reel This level-wind reel was made in Japan about twenty five years ago and is in good condition. Mechanically everything works. The gears, free-spool, level-wind, drag, click work well. The side plates and chrome are good but do show wear and age. It has a 3/1 gear ratio is a 1/0 size and will hold about 195 yds. of 20 lb.test and is a grade 8/8. It weighs 16oz. and was designed for saltwater fishing. It is a fairly good quality reel and has a metal spool and it has grey side plates and a black knob. If you are not happy with an item returns are fine but the buyer pays shipping. The reels I sell are 98% used. And in between 20& 100 years old. Most are far from perfect, so I some times use the Orca grading system, the first no. is how it looks and the second how it works.
