This belonged to my father who bought in the mid 50's(1954-55? used it once or twice and put it away because he just couldn't get used to it. I just found it recently and oiled it up and charged the battery and it STILL WORKS but how well it'll work in the forever in the future I can't guarantee. I believe the small(common) O" ring on the crank handle needs replacement due to the age of the rubber and drying out in time. I attempted to put it on but stopped cause it seemed tight and I didn't want to force it but with a softer fresh"O" ring there should be no problems. Everything is in the box including battery. Battery charger, manual, even including a information page about the reel. Wow what a work horse reeling in some big AJ's and Grouper from 350' of water! The speed was great for baiting up again. I sold my boat and won't be needing this rig any longer. The rig is in great shape and works flawlessly.
