This reel is only 1 1/2 months old. With no tax and the spectra already put on. This is a GREAT DEAL. I Took it on an(8) day trip out of San Diego in September. Bought it for my surface iron set up. It is almost brand new and has about 300 yards of 65# Izorline Spectra. It worked great. I got 10-12 Yellowtail on it. It casts like butter. I hate to sell it, but I need to make some money to buy some other gear I need. After tax and the spectra I had put on, I have about $ 280.00 into the reel. Shimano Trinidad 40 gold colored aluminum star drag salt water jigging reel TN40
Up for auction is a very gently used Shimano Trinidad 40 star drag reel. This reel is in very good condition with only very minor cosmetic cosmetic imperfections. Pictures should be examined for a more accurate description. This reel is filled with unused 80 lb. magibraid spectra. And topped off with 80 lb. izorline monofilament. The spool was coated with a protective layer of wax and the reel was filled with spectra with adequate tension to avoid super line dig in. There is enough top shot to make a good cast. The reel has not been used since having this line placed on it. The spool is in very good shape along with the rest of the reel. These models are arguably the best star drag reels in their class.
