It is marked Game Fish 1 50-D. I also reads Made in Japan so not really sure about the Penn I think it is made in the USA? It is a larger reel and I believe a salt water item. 3 7/8 inches across the top and the side is 3 3/8 inches. The handle is red and two inches. The movement moves good. Porcelain 30" double-sided PENN BOND motor oil sign. The back side has either been painted over or has oil on it. Should clean up since its porcelain. The Illinois Farm Supply Co. was in business from 1927-1955 before they changed their name. This is a super rare sign. The only other one I have found online sold at a Mecum Auction in 2011 for $1100. But with today's market on gas and oil signs, I'm sure it would be much higher. He brings a handful out every couple of months- I have listed and sold another previously. I DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT FISHING.POLES. Penn International 50 Made In The USA Nice
Up for auction is a very nice Penn International 50 Made in the USA. This reel is in perfect working condition. This reel Is also in very good cosmetic condition. There are some normal signs of wear on the reel from normal use. U may want to change the bottom screws that go onto the reel seat which are a little bent from tightening down the nuts onto the reel seat. I used it just like this and it obviously has no effect on the reel but its up to you. This is a fantastic Penn International that is sure to make a great addition to anyones collection. Good Luck!
