This reel comes loaded with line and includes a 500 pound swivel. It is ready to fish. Just add a leader and your bait and go. The rod: Custom Magnuflex T-535M-BTH 6/0 50 pound class blank thru handle rod with aluminum butt. Gimbal end and Aftco roller guides. The rod has a wooden handle over the aluminum butt which has some numbers pressed into the wood with a ball point pen(see photo) and there are a few scuffs on the wood. The roller tip has a slight bend in the external housing(see photo) which does not affect functionality. I performance tested it and it is ready to fish for the Big Boys! The Fenwick Custom rod is a one piece rod, 50 lb. Class. Except for a few light scratches and nicks, it is also in excellent condition. It has all AFTCO roller guides. It can hold about 600 Yds. of 50 Lb. mono. Penn International 50 Reel W/ Tiburon Handle Deep Sea Trolling Saltwater
Up for auction is a Penn International 50 with Tiburon handle. It has seen its better days. The reel functions. Drag loosens and tightens. The alarm switches on and off. The gear and spool knob turns. The rod seat is there but bent. The Tiburon crank handle spins. The spool turns. The drag locks move up and down freely. However. It sounds like a dying duck. I am no reel expert but I would expect that it needs work/grease/new gear/love/or to be broken down for parts. So I cant guarantee the operation of the reel. It is being sold as is.
