Penn International Reel, Model 30 And Custom Trolling Rod *Great Deal*
Up for auction is a penn international 30 reel with a captain harrys custom CHCT trolling rod. The rod has all the trolling guides and fights fish great. I cant see the specifics of the rod because they arent visible but i guess its a 30-60 lb rod or 50-80 lb. The clicker feels like its loose and it appears to still work. The drag is smooth. It is spooled with high visibility line that appears to be anywhere from 35-60 pound test line and includes a trolling lure with the hook. The reel and rod have heavy signs of use. Some small scratches on both sides and top and bottom of the reel. The right side of the reel is very shiny and clean. The rod has no cracks. The wrapping and gloss are old and are beginning to wear off. Overall. This is a great deal. The captain Harry's rod alone is retailed at $364. This is a Penn International 30 in a custom blue anodized color. The reel was 2 speeded and blueprinted by cal sheets also the drags were replaced with HT100 and the bearings and sleeves were upgrade for improved casting. The reel has some minor dings and scratches please consult the pictures for details. The reel comes with 135 pound Jerry Brown spectra and is ready to fish. The reel works great. The original sheet metal base plate was changed with a solid plate so the reel can be used with a harness. However there are no screw holes for reel clamps as I never use them. There is a matching blue 50W that I have listed please check that out if you buy both I will pay for shipping.
