This is a nice original Vintage Eagle Claw Surf or Bar Rod. Made in the USA. It is approximately 11' I'm sorry the rod does not have weight or line specifications printed on it. However. It is a pretty heavy rod capable of handling just about any size weight or lure you would want to use it for. Would be great for Ocean or River Bar fishing! This rod appears to have been refinished(painted) It is in good vintage condition with signs of age and use. Both rods were wrapped by the same local guy about 15 years ago to look like a Penn Senator rod. Please note this is NOT a Penn Senator. It just looks like one. This rod does have a gimble on the end of the wooden butt. It does show a little bit of wear and light corrosion on the guides, but no major damage. It appears as though the epoxy has some air bubbles in it that never escaped when it was finished, this is only a cosmetic flaw and does not affect the function of the rod. Penn Power Mag 980. All features of this reel are smooth and tight. Nice magnetic cast control with high power neodymium magnet. Clicker is loud. Drag is smooth. Line out is smooth. Reel has been completely taken down. Cleaned, greased and lubed. See pictures. Does have an issue: I broke a left side plate screw off in the front spacer. Impossible to drill out and Penn doesn't make these spacers anymore so it's missing a screw. The case is still nice and tight with zero movement but it is missing the screw. Does not affect function. All internal metal parts have a thin layer of reel grease. Gears have a little more liberal layer of reel grease, all case screws lightly coated with reel grease to ensure easy removal in the future. Vintage Ocean City No. 110 Big Game Conventional Saltwater Fishing Reel
You are bidding on a vintage Ocean City No 110 conventional reel. The reel is in excellent mechanical condition. It reels smoothly and the drag. Freespool and clicker work perfeclty. There are a few scratches as seen in the pictures and some light pitting at the center of the spool and on the braces. The handle knob has a hairline crack as seen in the last picture.
