2 Offshore Angler Extreme 7' saltwater fishing rods
This auction is for two Offshore Angler Extreme saltwater fishing rods. They were both floor models or returns at Bass Pro Shops. Rod#1: Kingfish Model OEKFC71025 7'0" 10-25 lb. 3/8-2 oz. lures. This rod is missing the insert on the 5th guide from the tip. It is also missing the gimbal cap. The blank is in good shape. But there are some scratches. The biggest scratch is between the 4th and 5th guides from the bottom(see close-up photo) There are a few other scratches as well.The reel seat works fine. Rod#2: Model OE72050 7' 20-50 lb. 1 1/2-4 oz. lures. The tip needs to be replaced on this one. All of the other guides are fine. There are a few small scratches on the blank. Nothing major at all. Please note that these rods are sold AS IS. I have done the best that I can to describe them. Please look at the pictures. Also, I ship ... moreall of my rods in 4" PVC pipe, so the $19 that I charge for shipping does not even cover my cost, as it is usually about $20 plus $8 for the pipe. Shima Pro Spin 750 Fishing Reel Fresh Saltwater SPINNING ball bearings - NICE!
I listed this gem as used. Because I don't have the box or manual, but I don't see any signs that this little 750 Pro Spin has every been used. It looks new, operates perfectly, and it's silky smooth, I might add, and with ball bearings. This is not a reel I have seen before. But a quick search on the internet produced information about other, high-end Shima reels. Consequently, I don't know if this is China's upgraded designed intended to compete with the Japanese Shimano- I simply don't know, but it does appear to be a quality made reel, unlike some of the cheaper ones I've seen in Wal-Mart, or the local tackle store. Here's a Great Reel for those who fish for Big Catfish or Coastal Sharks! This is an Original Penn Peerless No.9 Casting Reel. It features a Multi-Star Drag. Early White Torpedo Knob Counter-Balanced Handle, Loud Clicker and sealed Oil Ports for quick and easy lubrication. It holds 275 yds. of 15 lb. test mono. has a 3:41 Gear Ratio and weights 13 ounces. Everything works great and the reel has been stored properly with the drag backed off. There's no rust. Only a little light pitting. The only issue with the reel is it has a number etched on the left side plate and bottom of the reel seat. This is a great reel and this model was discontinued in 2006.
