I used this reel a couple of times and caught a number of 30lb Class Striped Bass. Sweet reel and I happen to like star drags better than level drags. You can see from the pictures the reel is as good as new. Everything is included that comes from the Manufacturer to include the box. This is an Excellent copy of Joe Brooks' book"Salt Water Game Fishing" in the Dust Jacket. This is the First Edition published by Harper& Row in New York in 1968. Roughly 6 1/2 X 9 1/2 inch format hardback with 346 pages. Mr. Brooks fished the world over. Wrote a bunch of books about it, appeared on several early TV fishing shows and became one of the best known fishermen in the world. Nice copy for the collector! 2 Penn Slammer 6'6" saltwater fishing rods
This auction is for two 6'6" Penn Slammer saltwater fishing rods. They were both floor models or returns at Bass Pro Shops. Rod#1: Model SL3080C66 6'6" 1 pc 30-80 lb. Line 01B12CM. This rod is missing the insert on the 2nd guide from the bottom. All other guides are intact. There are a few minor scratches from handling on the blank. Not many at all. Rod#2: Model SL2050C66T 6'6" 1 pc 20-50 lb. Line. All of the guides on this rod are intact. There are some scratches/scuffs on the blank from handling. Most are near the middle of the rod(see close-up photos) Please note that these rods are sold AS IS. I have done the best that I can to describe them. Please look at the pictures. Also, I ship all of my rods in 4" PVC pipe, so the $19 that I charge for shipping does not even cover my cost, as it is usually about ... more$20 plus $8 for the pipe.
