Up for bids is a Shimano Symetre 2000FH. This reel is rock solid. In tip-top shape with only superficial indications of wear. Bail spring is great, drag is great, anti-reverse is great, and this reel is incredibly smooth! I did service this reel. It was disassembled, all parts were carefully cleaned/inspected, gears and other metal surfaces were treated with Superlube teflon grease, and bearings were lightly oiled and then sealed with Superlube. If I didn't already have an excess of reels, I would spool this thing up with 15lb PowerPro and it would be ready to go. Up for auction is a nice used Shimano Custom GT Plus GT 2000 spinning reel. It was made in Japan and is so marked on the foot. It has the"Fightin Drag" system. The reel is used. But in very good condition. The graphics and tape/decals all look good except for some wear on the stem. The reel is set up for a left hander now, but can easily be changed over for right hand use. The reels weighs 8.4 ounces. The spool holds 180 yards of 6 pound, 140 yards of 8 pound and 105 yards of 10 pound test line. The gear ratio is not shown on the reel but it looks to be about 5.2:1. Here is a Shimano Ultegra spinning reel- made in Japan. This is the same reel as the US Stradic FG. But the Ultegra has a titanium lipped spool and all aluminum handle. The reel uses worm gear oscillation for great line lay as well. The reel performs fantastically and there is no rust or corrosion at all. The drag is super smooth. Bail is nice and snappy, and the handle turns smoothly. Just some scuffs on the handle and a few on the reel, but nothing serious. Comes with box, papers, parts, and reel bag. Thanks for looking.

Shimano 4000fh spinning reel slightly used
This is a barely used Shimano Stradic 4000fh. I bought it new a few years ago. And love it. Unfortunately I haven't got the time to fish like I used to, so I am parting ways with it. I fished in salt water with it most of the time, but be assured it was cleaned thoroughly each time, and there are only a few blemishes on the body of the reel that came from normal use.
