This is a Shimano TLD 30II 2 spd with a Tiburon conversion including a Tiburon handle. I've had this reel for many years and have caught some big fish with it. The reel works great and has great free spool. Great reel for trolling. Bottom fishing or those bigger fish. No worry about a graphite frame. The reel has some boat rash as shown in photos but no major scratches or nicks and no corrosion. It's spooled with 300 + yards of 130 lb hollow spectra. The spectra is only 2 years old. I haven't used the reel for a couple years and I'm making my reel bag lighter.

Shimano TLD 30 2-speed graphite reel in great shape. I bought this reel in 1994 as it was the perfect tool to catch the BIG 100+ pound BLUEFIN that were around in the 90's. Alas. Never got one. Reel always maintained and works great. In fact, I spun the spool as I am writing this ad and it spun for 80 seconds before stopping! Some minor boat rash and the aluminum plate near the drag lever has a little bend in it from falling out of the rack. It does NOT interfere with the any function and could probably be straightened out easily enough. I replaced the stock clamp with a Tiburon heavy duty model and Tiburon hardware. Comes with the original box, instruction booklet original receipt and a schematic drawing.

Here is one of my Shimano 50 wides. I've been slowly been selling all my large tackle due to me fishing more fresh water lately. I've owned this reel for 3 years. Purchased it brand new. Every September I send all my large reels to Profesional Sports in New Orleans to get cleaned, lubed, and inspected. This reel has been on four fishing trips since last September when it was serviced last. It is still good to go on many more trips till it will need to be serviced. It has $150 worth of Jerry Brown hollow core top shot on it which is only 6 months old, put on at superior tackle in Baton Rouge. The reel Boasts the large Shimano power handle which is very comfortable. I always run my strike drag set around 20 pounds. When the reels are not being used I back the drags down during storage.
