This is a Shimano TLD 25 conventional lever drag reel. I am listing it as for parts only because it needs a handle because existing handle is broken. Also. The right gold side plate is bent a little to where the lever drag knob cannot go beyond a certain point. Also, the clicker doesn't sound. This is a Shimano TLD 15 conventional lever drag reel. It is used and works good except. The lever drag arm seems a bit loose. When taking the lever drag arm into free spool, the spool does not engage loose completely. The spool remains as if the drag was all the way loose, but not 100% free spinning. The drag does tighten when shifting the lever drag. Also, the clicker does not sound. The rest of the reel seems to be working just fine, and reels smoothly. There is some light wear from use. Shimano TLD 50 2 Speed Reels and Gatorglass 6' Stand up Fishing Rods
Two Shimano TLD 50 2-Speed reels on 6' Gatorglass Stand up rods. Reels are lined with Momoi Diamond 50 lb high vis yellow. They have a top shot of 150 lb Yo-Zuri Pink Fluorocarbon. The Fluorocarbon is attached with a loop to loop of 200 lb Hollow Core Spectra. Line is brand new and does not need to be changed. I bought these reels new and have fished them for years. They are good as new. Drags are smooth and accurate. Personally. For the money, there is no better reel than the TLD 30s and 50s. The 20s and 25s are not of the same durability as the two speed models. The clicker is louder, the drag is easier to get to and they are lighter than aluminum reels. I absolutely love them. Unfortunately, I had to sell my boat so I can't justify them sitting around not getting used. The rods are Gatorglass SU50100RS60 50-100 lb line. The eyelets ... moreare all in place and the rods are practically new. These reels have caught a ton of fish off the North Carolina Coast and I hate to see them go. These are stand up boat rigs. This replacement type reel handle is a great upgrade for the TLDII and the Tiagra 20 and 30 size reels. The 4inch length makes it waay easier to crank under a load. The offset arm is tig welded aluminum and the angled knob is rubber like and very comfortable. The screwholes are tapped for the factory screws.
