The complete handle includes an aluminum handle blank and knob and weighs about 3 oz. The knob is constructed of 6061 Aluminum and incorporates a ball bearing in the shaft. This hollow aluminum knob is extremely light weight and incredibly comfortable. It is about 4" long and about 1" in diamedter. The 6061 aluminum handle blank is about 3.75" in length. This is longer than the original handle blank. This extra length provides for additional torque. Handle blank and knob are both BLACK. To attach the knob to the handle blank: Unscrew the cap from the top of the knob. The shaft is detached from the knob by removing the small allen screw from inside the knob. Then separate the knob from the shaft. Remove the small plug from the top of the shaft. This will expose a slot in the pin for the second screw driver. Attach the shaft to the handle blank using 2 screw drivers. Then reverse the procedure to reassemble. Up for auction is a very gently used Shimano Trinidad 40 star drag reel. This reel is in very good condition with only very minor cosmetic cosmetic imperfections. Pictures should be examined for a more accurate description. This reel is filled with unused 80 lb. magibraid spectra. And topped off with 80 lb. izorline monofilament. The spool was coated with a protective layer of wax and the reel was filled with spectra with adequate tension to avoid super line dig in. There is enough top shot to make a good cast. The reel has not been used since having this line placed on it. The spool is in very good shape along with the rest of the reel. These models are arguably the best star drag reels in their class.
