Big vintage FENWICK- TUNA. Big ONE piece, 6 1/2 foot Boat/Trolling/Surf Casting/Tuna Rod, Model# 789-C, in very, very nice condition. The foam handles are all nice. The eight eyelets and tip are all nice, except for the one missing the ring. The wraps are all nice. The metal also is nice. Even though just one ring on one eyelet is missing, which could easily be repaired, this rod is otherwise very nice. Made for 2 to 8 ounce lures and 20 to 60 pound test line. Vintage Split Bamboo 2 Piece 54" Fishing Rod Kirkland?? Bait or Trolling Rod
Purchased at an estate auction with a number of other bamboo rods. This is a 54 inch rod that I could not find the makers mark on. Looking at pictures of the handle the handle is shaped like a Kirkland rod handle. The only eyelet is the end eyelet. The rod is very clean with no splits or cracks. It is in excellent condition. there is no indication that there were ever eyelets on the rod. Its total length is about 54 inches. One section is about 30 inches and the handle section is about 25 Inches. I believe it is a bait or trolling rod.

ONE DAY AUCTION! I don't know much about this rod. Other than it seems good quality, and i can make out the word Phantom on it. it has a wood lower handle and cork upper handle. The metal has a little corrosion and I have not attempted to clean it up. Pole itself also needs cleaned, and will have marks and imperfections from age/use. Some of the loop strings are coming loose in areas. And other imperfections. However they don't make em like this anymore. the overall length including handle, is around 72 3/4" 6' 3/4" this has a square type lower base, which tapers into a round upper part of pole. PENN 3190RS SENATOR TROLLING ROD 6ft 6in. 60-80lb.
I don't know much about fishing. I bought this at a yard sale because the condition was so good. If you're looking at this rod then you know a whole lot more about it than I do. Both of the handles show very little wear. Light scratching is all I can detect. There is some light scratching along the body of the rod. With the majority of that in the top two sections of the pole. I have tried to picture the sections of the rod that would normally show the most wear. This same rod is selling new for $130 delivered. This is a St.Croix Avid casting or trolling rod.Model AC96MLF2.This was a factory return.It had a broken tip.2 inches was broken off the rod tip.It still has great action and feel especially since the rod is so long and willowy.I put a new tip top on and now the rod is ready to go.The label was removed at the factory and the warranty is void.I clearcoated over the area where the label was for appearance purposes.The rod is in good condition,no cracks or chips on the guides or boat rash on the rod.The handle has a nickel size gouge in the cork,see the picture.This is a $170 rod new.
