This is an interesting and weird trolling rod and reel. Apparently a hand-crafted concoction. The 6" diameter aluminum reel is unmarked as to maker, has two wooden knobs and is permanently attached to the rod. There is no brake on the reel. The rod is solid fiberglass painted black, the shaft 28" long. The grip is hard rubber, the forward part of the handle black painted cork. An interesting addition to any collection.

You are bidding on a real heavy saltwater trolling rod/reel combo. This gear has been fished all around Florida. From the Keys to Jax. It is a Custom built 7' solid glass and heavy steel reel bed wood butt. Fitted with a Penn Senator 9/0 Reel. Clicker works) Spooled with I think 40lb line. It is a two piece rod and seps very easy. Locks with round shaft nut. The tip roller is an Aftco. The four other rollers are leg welded cutoms all tight and working. The wood handle is 11" long and 1 3/4" round at the widest of the taper. Base section is 20" overall and set to a 4 way base. The upper rod section from the tip roller down 6 1/2" to 1st roller 1 1/2" tall. Down 8 1/4" 2nd roller 1 5/8" tall. Only the lower part needs refinished. It's 15-3/4" Damage-free, not one dent, chip, or crack. There are a couple hairline cracks in the upper part. But they don't go all the way. None of the metal parts are magnetic. The crud on the chrome reel seat scrapes off easily with my fingernail- guess I should've polished it. The"wrapping" all looks good. I see no damage except scratches in the tip section have gone into the finish(Supersize" the last photo) This rod is fairly heavy(1 lb. 4 ozs. and the best way I see to ship it will be in an 86" heavy-wall 1/1/2" PVC pipe I found, so shipping will be ... moreover 5 lbs.t he cardboard box is probably not neccessary- another 1-1/2 lbs. To first let you know i do not have the top of the mount but im sure something can be made or even use a U bolt for downrigger mounting or rail mount or maybe even mount to your boat. These have been used so do have some light scuf/scratches from use and if you look at the one on the right it has some what looks to be pitting from when something was hitting it while traveling with the boat. Included is 1 mounting base that can be mounted on your boat that 1 rod holder will slide onto as you see in picture 3. These are in good condition but do have some scuf/scratches from use and being in a box with other fishin items. If you look at the pictures you can see they look different. 1 is grey colored with short rubber top cap and the other is polished aluminum with longer rubber top cap, 1 has 2 wing nuts and the right one has 1 wing nut.
