This is a great combination: PENN SENATOR 114-H SALT WATER BALL BEARING TROLLING REEL MATCHED WITH A DAIWA BEEF STICK B171R-50 ROD with a rating for 50 pound line The reel was made by the Penn Fishing Tackle Mfg. Co. in Philadelphia. PA. They work together well to pull in the big ones. I listed both pieces as used. But they are in almost new condition with very few wear/use marks! See the close ups in the photos. The reel cleaned up with just a cloth. Everything works as it should including the drag. The reel mount is solid and in great condition. The blank. Handle, reel seat, guides and wraps are sound and there is no visible corrosion on any part. The red wraps have a very nice appearance against the gold and black blank. It is a one piece rod 76 inches long for a good feel and control. The 6 guides and tip top are roller guides. Antique Unmarked Wooden 7 1/2 Foot Trolling Rod 3/1 Spike Ferrules Fishing
This antique rod is in very good to excellent condition. All sections full length and straight. The 12" grip is turned and grooved, painted black. The slide band uplocking metal reel seat is very good, guide rails were a Chubb patent? The spike ferrules are properly tight. There is a tiny banded tie guide on the butt section, a double opposing banded tie guide on the tip section, nothing on the mid section. The tip top is a fancy double hole design. This is a terrific collectible.

Vintage Eagle Claw Powerlight 8ft Trolling Rod Wright & Mcgill All Wood Unused
You are bidding on an extremely rare Vintage Eagle Claw Powerlight 8 foot Trolling Rod by Wright& Mcgill Co. Denver. Co. The reason I say that this is a rare find is because this is the only one that I have ever seen. If you look for Eagle Claw Powerlight Rods on here you will come across several that are quite similar. Obviously they were fashioned in much of the same way or after a similar make and model. Some of the more common ones that have come up in my own searches have been the Downrigger, the Starfire, and the Champion. I have seen several of these. They vary slightly in size and there are even some powerlight spinning rods. This one however is the only one that I have ever seen that is signed off as being a Powerlight"Trolling" rod. It also has the all wood handle which isn't extremely uncommon as I see other similar ... moremodels that have the wood handle, but I have also seen similar with cork, and foam handles. So to come across the Powerlight"Trolling" model in the first place is not very common and one with an all wood handle I'm assuming would be even more so. Another unique feature is the length of this rod. I see many 7 footers and 7.5 footers, an occasional 8.5 but I don't see too many strictly 8 foot Powerlight models of any style. This rod is from a private collection and comes to you exactly as I bought it. I only noticed a couple of very tiny scratches(we're talking maybe 1/4 inch) on the underside of the handle close to where you attach the reel. I wouldn't have even seen them had I not taken the rod into the bathroom to inspect it under more light. Other than that whatever wear this rod happens to display has had to have come from simply the passage of time itself. I have never used this rod, in fact it has never even housed a reel. I simply bought it for collecting purposes years ago and it has been stored untouched indoors in a climate controlled smoke free home ever since I have owned it. I thought I would give some other collector out there a shot
