Purchased the rod for freshwater catfishing but way to much power for the cats in my area. The rod has great flex in the top half and super powerful in the butt section. This auctions is for 4 saltwater surf fishing rods. They are all returns to Bass Pro Shops. All are in good to like new condition. All are 2 piece rods. There is an 8' Daiwa. 2) 12' Daiwas, and a 12' Ugly Stik. None are missing any guides or need any repair, except the Ugly Stik. Please note that these rods are sold AS IS, please look at the pictures and ask questions if necessary. I will do my best to describe the condition of the rods. Rod#1: Daiwa Sealine Surf Model: SLS 1202MHFS 12' MH 1-6 oz. 17-40 lb. This rod is in excellent condition. I don't think it's ever been used. It still has the original plastic on the rear grip. Has a couple of light scratches on the blank from handling. Rod#2: Daiwa Beef Stick Model: BF SF1202MHRS 12' MH 1-6 oz. 17-40 lb. This rod is very lightly used but in very good used condition. ... moreRod#3: Daiwa Wave Model: DWV F802 MFS 8'0" Medium Lure: 3/4-3 oz. Line: 12-25 lb. This rod is also in very good used condition. Rod#4: Shakespeare Ugly Stik Model: BWS 1100 12'0" Action: Heavy(12-40 Lb. Line) This rod is used. The bottom piece is in excellent condition. The top piece is more worn with some scratches. There is a crack in the blank of the top piece about 5" long which starts about 2" above the ferrule. The finish is also flaking off of the ferrule. These things are repairable. But it takes some skill. I took close up photos of the problem area, please look at the photos. I tested all of the reel seats and all are working. Shipping to the contiguous 48 states only.
