7 Weight St. Croix Imperial Switch Rod
Have had this rod for two years now. It's a 4 piece 7 weight switch rod. Bought it for steelhead and salmon fishing in Northern Michigan and it performed well. Mostly used it for indicator fishing but also occasionally to toss some streamers. It came in handy on some of the bigger streams here. Allowing me to get my bait just a little farther out there where the fish were holding without having to step into deeper water or risk scaring the fish. The rod has no visible damages and still is in great condition. I wasn't able to use it as much as I would have liked to but unfortunately its time for it to go. I'm selling it because school is getting pretty expensive and I could use some extra money. Comes with case.

This reliable rig was purchased a little over a year ago for both personal and guide use. I no longer need it and although used. Is not abused. No major wear. We're talking both rod and reel as well as a Cortland precision WF#4 Floating line(one of my favorite lines) I am leaving the factory loop on however I'd suggest a fresh nailknot+butt section be added. The reel is the 4/5 model. The rod comes with the tube and sock. It's ready to fish! No need to spend tons of money on fly fishing. I'd call it a solid and quality all-around trout/panfish etc. rig and by a reputable company. The action is not super fast but certainly not slow. Great for dries actually. You will note the close-ups showing some spots of wear. These are the worst you will find and most of the rig is clean. The rod is in very good condition.

This auction is for a gently used G Loomis Cross Current GLX 9' 10wt saltwater fly rod. I am the original owner. This rod has caught its share of fish(no skunk here) but has been relegated to being a spare and as a result stored away safe in its tube for too long. In a recent review of my rod inventory I realized I've got a ridiculous number of rods particularly in the 7-10wt range so am looking to find them good homes where they'll hopefully see some action. The photos will hopefully evidence the exceptional condition the rod is in. The photos of the cork grip in particular will show how well maintained the rod is. That being said I was able to identify one small imperfection. Pickard Bamboo Fly Rod 704 2/2 "Special"
Pickard 704. 2/2 bamboo fly rod. 7’ long. 2 piece, 4 weight rod. Full length, all original. Excellent condition in original rod and tube. The rod maker John Pickard, told me it was made from pre embargo cane as well. It has Nickel silver ferrules and has nice crisp pop sound when disassembled. It casts a 4 weight like a dream and is an awesome bamboo fly rod with a great powerful casting action for a four weight. A real blast to catch fish with. I had used it in Michigan for trout and caught suburban bluegill and crappie with it around the neighborhood. Rod is“special” as grip has a standard wells shape at top of grip for thumb vs. tapering grip down in front. I found it great for better control and more comfortable. Great bamboo rod from a leading contemporary bamboo rod craftsman. His rods are now listed at $1850 new on his web site.

This rod has only been on two occasions. It was cast into a lake once and into a stream once-never on lawn. Total of about 15 min. I am a light line trout fisherman who thought that bass fishing would happen if I bought a bigger rod. Well. I just don't pick the rod up. I fish a z-axis 3wt 9' and love it. Mostly I am in 3 wt fishing situations. I just keep fishing small streams, and there are enough of them around to keep me busy. If you are looking for one of the best fast action rods ever. Here it it is. And it's pretty, too. The reel seat is up-locking and has a traditional wooden spacer. So many rod companies now put reel seats that look like something from Buck Rogers rather than something you want to look at while you're on a trout stream. Nat Uslan Custom 7 1/2' 5/6 wt Bamboo Fly Rod w/ 2 tips EX NR *penta*
This auction is for a Nat Uslan custom built bamboo fly rod in excellent condition. This two piece. Two tip, five-strip split cane rod is 7 ft 6 inches long and rated for a 6wt line. It is an unusual Uslan that according to the previous owner was custom built for Jim Shaaf when he came to fish in Florida and visited Uslan. There is unfortunately nothing included with the rod to authenticate this clai m. However the rod is exceptionally finished and one of the nicest Uslan rods I have seen- possibly from a kit or a professionally restored original. Uslan's 7 1/2 ft fly rod model was apparently inked 120 back in the 40's- then it became the 7550 and finally the 7613 later in the 50's(as it is 7 ft 6 inches long and apparently uses a size 13 ferrule) Definitely a Florida era rod from the label used on the tube as this was part of ... morethe cover of his rod catalogs with the later Florida address. Wraps are Burgundy tipped gold w/ brown in the signature wraps and base of ferrules. Cork handle is in very good to excellent condition showing slight use- with an unusual wood front piece or grip check with matching wood spacer in the up-locking reel seat. Rod is inked Custom Uslan on one flat above the handle and 7 1/2' 120 7613#6 on the other side. A very powerful rod for the weight at 4.125 oz's on my digital scale. A very smooth casting rod- handled a DT5 beautifully and shoots line well- might like WF6 best but didn't have to try. Rod comes with sock and tube- believed to be original. Lamiglass G1286-8, Series 1000, Graphite, Back Packer Fly Rod and Rod Tube
You are bidding on an older model Lamiglass G1286-8. Series 1000, Graphite, Back Packer fly fishing rod with its original rod tube. Made in the USA this is a 4 piece. 8’ rod that is rated for 6 wt. line. The rod is in very good condition with the exception of the third piece that is 1” shorter than the other three pieces and seems to have suffered some damage to the male end of the piece. It still fits snugly into the ferrule and the rod still measures 8” but it doesn’t seem correct to me. Please look closely at the picture. The rest of the rod is completely original and has all of its original guides in their original wrappings. Its original hook holder, clean cork handles and an unmarked Lamiglass reel seat. The rod tube is in very good condition. This rod would be perfect for the fisherman who is looking for an extra rod. Made by a name ... morebrand manufacturer, that is light and easy to transport. Sage Xi2 1090 Fly Rod with blank warranty card. The rod is a 9 foot. 10 weight, 4 piece. Overall the rod is in excellent used condition. The rod has been used very little and it shows. The rod has not been used in saltwater and there is no oxidation on the reel seat or guides. The blank is unmarked except for some scratching at the male ferrule ends from assembly, which in no way affects the performance of the rod. The Sage Xi2 rod tube has been replaced with a used Sage Xi3 tube with cap as the original tube was stolen. Thomas and Thomas 9' 5 weight original 905 2 piece Horizon series that won so many awards. This is the rod that made T&T what they are today. And is still probably the best all around casting rod there is. Blank is in like new condition, no nicks. cork is in excellent condition.
