Sage Graphite III Salmon Fly Rod. 10150-4, 15' 10 4-Piece, 8 7/8 oz. Mint condition. The guy I bought this from told me that it had been grass cast but had never been fished. I have no reason to doubt that. The blank. Cork handle, rings, whippings and reel fittings are all immaculate. Never seen a better example. This rod is easily good enough for a collector or of course for an angler. Complete with black Sage rod bag and an alloy rod tube with a Sage logo. But this is not the original(don't worry, the salmon won't realise. A superb example of a Sage classic! Please take a look at my other eBay listings.

Selling my Redington CPX 11'3 7wt. switch rod. This baby has landed ALOT of steelies in it's day! I have two of these and am not using this one as much so I am saying goodbye to a fantastic wing man. There is no Montague label on the however the cork handle. Reel seat, ferrules, yellow wraps, winding check and flamed bamboo cane are all characteristics of a Montague Rapidan rod. All of the section measure 34 ½” I would estimate the fly line weight would be a solid five. The six inch cork handle and screw down lock reel seat are in great condition. There are two snake eye guides on the mid section three on the tip and a stipper guide/hook keeper on the bottom section. The guides on the mid section and one on tip section both have been professionally re-wrapped. The rod fits together perfectly when assembled and has the distinct pop sound when removed. Just in time for your 2013 Saltwater trip(or Alaska) I am the original owner of this rod(for approx. 9 years) The Rod has been lightly used- only a few trips and used only a day or two on each. I think my days of throwing a 10 weight are about over. Very powerful rod with very good"lifting power" Cosmetically. Very good(the only scratch I noticed is shown in photo of the serial number- to the right, about 1/2 inch- only a surface scratch) The reserve is very reasonable. You won't be disappointed!

This is a two-handed(spey) rod designed for steelhead fishing. It's 12ft 6inches in length. It's classified as a 6wt rod. The rod comes in three pieces. It comes with the original rod tube and rod sock. This was a pro-deal rod. So my name is engraved on the rod. I believe this model is the"European" style. This was Sage's top-of-the-line rod. Albeit two models ago. It predates the Z-Axis series of spey rods. I just upgraded to a Sage ONE 6126-4, so it's time to send this rod on to a new owner. I have caught many steelhead on this rod. It's a perfect rod for summer steelhead on small to medium size rivers. It does well with Scandi-style lines and can even handle some light tips on a skagit-stye line, although that is not it's best application. Fenwick FF70-4 Fiberglass Fly Rod: Translucent 1964-1965
Fenwick FF70-4 Fiberglass Fly Rod Translucent E-series. Four-piece, seven-foot model from 1964-1965 that flexes easily and deeply for tremendous fish-on feel. Fenwick stickered this one as a six weight, and I'd say that's on the high end of the range. Think five weight and maybe four. For reference, this Fenwick's butt diameter is about the same as that of a Steffen seven-foot 2-3 weight. Finish is unscathed. Save for the Feralite ferrule junctions that show minor scuffing. Cork is astoundingly fresh. Clean, smooth, and grippy. Cased length is about 22 ⅝" Handy and portable. Of course. Tube. Intact, with lid attached, and Fenwick flannel sock included.

This auction is for 2 G. Loomis fishing rods which need repair. They are returns from Bass Pro Shops. Rod#1: G. Loomis Bronzeback Model: SMR753CJB 6'3" 1/4-5/8 oz. 8-14 lb. Mod. Fast Action. This rod is missing the 4th guide from the tip. The rod has been used and shows some wear on the cork. There is also a line of green marker on the cork. The blank is in excellent condition. But has a few small scratches from handling. Rod#2: G. Loomis Pelagic Series Model: PSR84-20C 7' 15-25 lb. Fast Action. This rod is in rough shape. The handle and reel seat are fine. All of the guides are intact. There is rust by most of the guide feet. The finish on the blank is in terrible condition. It is peeling and scratched all over. Please look at the pictures, they show the condition of the rod. The rod is fishable as is, but it doesn't look ... morepretty. Please note that this rod is sold AS IS. I looked the rod over thoroughly and have done the best that I can to describe it. The reel seat works fine. I ship rods in 4" PVC pipe in order to minimize the risk of damage. I have no history on the rod-this was an estate sale find from the attic of an OLD HOUSE and nobody knew anything about this fishing rod. The rod is marked FENWICK Feralite B 19652 FF80 3 1/2 oz The condition is fantastic- the cork handle looks almost unused-it appears to have been handled some-I took a couple close up photos for you to see. It's a really nice sturdy built cane rod typical of the South Bend rods from the 1950's era and is ready to be taken out and fished again. This was built on a 8 1/2 ft. 4wt. 4 piece Forecast RX6 blank it has a nice med fast action. Great for trout. Panfish, or a good fight on a 2 pound bass.The reel seat is REC, Strippr guide is Batson single foot guides are Pac Bay. The handle is cork and stabilized Box Elder burl. Rod comes with a blue rod sock and alum. rod tube. Rod has been used approx. 6 times and fished well, need to get other gear. You will be very happy fishing this rod. The fly on the side of the handle was kind of a neat looking idea the way it sits.
