Lamiglas Graphite 8' fly rod w/ graphite grip Price Lowered, again !!
This is a Lamiglas Graphite fly rod I had made in the mid 1980s. It is a GSH102-2MH 8'6"spinning rod blank cut to 8' I had it shortened to use for salmon on smaller streams. It is a medium/heavy rod rated for 10-20lb test. It has Fuji ceramic guides and a Lamiglas graphite grip. With a reel seat that can be moved on the handle. I used it drifting egg sacks, very sensitive. The grip is wound with friction tape, because it proved to be very slippery in cold weather. The rod could be used as a boat rod with a level wind reel the way it is now. Or change a few guides and use it as a spinning rod. It is in very good condition showing little use. Total rod weight is 6.7oz. From what I have read, the older Lamiglas rods are in demand now.

10' Vintage Double Grip 3/2 Radio Fly Rod, c. 1925-30(?) wet fly(?) Beautiful!
Superb Condition. 10' Bamboo Fly Rod, 3/2, 2 different tips, with original bag and tube case. Lovely attention to detail and craft–a stroll back in time. The rod measures 10' not including the second, lower cork grip. In three sections, with extra tip as shown in photos. The mid-section appears to be missing one wire loop, otherwise complete. The original tobacco-brown cloth bag is stitched to accommodate the longer shaft of the grip-end and the shorter mid- and tip-sections. Cap of the metal case is lined with cork: it has one small gauge in it and has no label, but otherwise is in very good condition, and 46.5" long. It is certainly original, as the bag fits it perfectly. Radio' is said by some to be a high-end Montague rod of the 1920s. George Varney era. Whatever it is, it is certainly a beautifully made fly rod from ... morea bygone era. Double grip has a very nice balance in the hand. Ships to US only. FedEx Ground/Home Delivery, insured of course. Vintage SOUTH BEND Bamboo fly rod with COMFICIENT GRIP that I picked up at an estate auction about 10 years ago and kept in storage ever since. The gold label that says COMFICIENT GRIP and the Cork Handle don't appear to have any wear. One of the bamboo rod attachments has a price tag attached to the end that says ROTHSCHILDS B&M. Oklahoma City. The kit comes with the original bag as well as the cardboard storage tube with metal caps. The bag has a stitched paper label that shows the rod number as 359 and the length as 9. Because there is almost no wear. There may be the chance that the kit has never been used, but I cannot say for sure. Good luck bidding!

Rare Monarch Bamboo Fishing Rod Made in Japan Spin/Fly Fishing w Wood Grip
For sale at a buy it now fixed price is this(I think) early 1950s vintage rod made in Japan. It is a 5 piece bamboo fly/spin fishing combo rod. You reverse the grip section to fish it as a fly fishing rod. As a two piece spinning rod it is a 5'4" rod. As a three piece fly fishing rod it is 8 feet long. There are two fly fishing tips. The line size for which it is balanced is unmarked but it throws a 6 weight line pretty comfortably. As a spinning rod I think you would want to keep the mono at 8 pounds or less. There originally was a round yellow logo but most of that has worn off. At the the front of the logo I can see an H and at tail end of the logo I can make out the last letters of the word Monarch.a known Japanese rod brand or model. With this design it is almost certainly a rod made in Japan. The rod is an early design with ... morea spiral thread wrap around most of the bamboo. It also has an unusual heavily grained hardwood grip. The eyes. Wraps, seat, and tip tops are all intact and excellent. It has an early ring style hook keeper. It comes with the(obviously not original) rod bag that fits and provides some protection but no tube. Condition is used but in truly excellent condition with no damage and very little wear. VINTAGE SOUTH BEND #359 - 8-1/2' FLY ROD - 3/2 PIECE - COMFICIENT HANDLE GRIP
This is really a very nice. Good looking, and well taken care of South Bend#393- 8 1/2" fly rod outfit. It has the Comficient Handle Grip and made in the 3/2 piece format, this rod is in very good plus condition and has flamed bamboo, steel snake guides, a red glass stripper guide, soft brown wraps, and stainless steel ferrules. It has a'ventilated' grip with the"Comficient" decal still present an the thumb rest. Completing this fly rod is the maroon reel seat with the screw up-locking hardware. All sections are full length, with a very nice finish, has some places on it, but not many. It comes with the original labeled rod bag and original rod tube, both in very good condition.

Handle has label that reads Comficient Grip Pat. No. 1,931,303 Comfortable-Efficient. This rod belonged to my uncle who never fished, so I don't think this rod has ever been used. It appears to be all original and in mint condition. The carry tube has some small dents and scratches, also the tube is missing the label. This is a great rod to add to your collection.

It will cast a 5wt for me but could do a 6 wt. if you like it slower with more loading of the rod. Blued Nickel Silver hardware, nice Dark grain Walnut seat, chrome guides, solid nickel silver super Z type ferrules, chrome striper guide finished with and wrapped with a vintage Gudebrod Chestnut Silk that blends very well with the color of the bamboo. Nice classic vintage looking new Western Style cork grip. The colors used blend very well together on this fly rod it is gorgeous. Vintage ca.1900 Rattan Grip Lancewood Fly Rod + Form Case Possibly Chubb
Antique. Vintage ca. 1900 Rattan Grip Lancewood rod with a form case. This may be a rod manufactured by Chubb. The ferrules may give the knowledgeable collector a clue as to the maker. The butt and the mid are each 39" long. The butt is missing its guide and the mid is missing one of three guides. Otherwise, they are in excellent condition. I believe that the grip with its reel seat is reversible, which would change the position of the reel from below the hand to above the hand. The remaining three parts. Which may or may not belong to the butt and mid, need to be restored or used for parts. One tip, the male ferrule of which is too big for the female ferrule on the mid, is 36 1/2" long, has only one guide and no tip top guide. The other two tips are 34" and 21 1/2" respectively and may or may not be of some use to a restorer. ... moreThe form case is made of wood covered in green canvas which has deteriorated.
