Vintage 1967 Pflueger Trump 486 Saltwater Rod 6 foot w/ Wooden Butt & Cork Grip
This is a Vintage 1967 Pflueger Trump No. 486 Glass Saltwater Rod. It is 6 foot in length and has 3 stainless steel guides and stainless steel tip top. The guides are good and have a little saltwater rash. And the wrapping of the guides is in perfect condition. It has a very nice wooden butt which is also perfect. It also has a cork fore grip which is also perfect and doesnt even look used. The reel seat is stainless steel and very slight wear, but almost perfect. This rod is in very nice vintage condition and a very rare find at an estate sale in the florida keys last week. Description" These were competently removed from a Action-Rod fishing pole. As the pics should depict. It's all in very good shape. I do not see any scratches or chips or dents in any of the parts here. Age has discolored the plastic to a nice dull ivory like glow. There appears to be some minimal but mild imperfection in the red area of one of the rings if one looks closely at the pictures. Vintage bamboo fly rod parts-21 sections with 5 reel seats and cork handles
For the vintage bamboo rod restorer. Maker, or repair specialist. a lot of 21 unmatched sections from old bamboo fly rods. This is a parting-out lot of genuine rod parts/pieces. The lot includes 5 base sections, with cork handles and reel seats, 10 mid-sections, and 6 top pieces with tip-top guides. There are 14 male ferrules and 8 female ferrules. Some sections are complete with nice wraps and guides, others have just one guide. Two cork handles have been recently sanded. All of the decals are missing from the rods, but some clearly had manufacturer decals during their active fishing life. None of the rod sections have been broken/snapped- these are the leftovers after the broken/snapped section was tossed. Up for bid is(4) Lew's Fuji Spinning ferrules. These are different than the ones that are used in the handles I have up for auction. Ferrules have not been used. The OD is about 15 mm or about 3/5" Length is 2" 2.25" And ID from 11mm or.4" to a little less than the 15 mm or 3/5" I do not know for sure if these ferrules are suppose to be used for, but it says on the boxes; GA and EA adapters for glued in rods.

There is a navy blue handle without a manufacturer's name on it, a black one that says"Sears" A dark green one that says"True Temper" and finally, a maroon one that says"Shakespeare model 2260204" These are in varying condition. Up for your consideration are 4 vintage casting rod handles. 1 is a Heddon Pal 1 is a Roddy and the other 2 are of unknown make. The Heddon, Roddy, unknown with cork grip have 3/8" blank chucks. This is an old Shakespeare rod handle& reel seating. This thing is very. Very heavy, looks& feels like a Billy club or a little baseball bat. The diameter of the hole where the rod would fit is about 3/4. The diameter of the wood handle is over an inch. The total length of the handle is 19 inches. The knob at the bottom is rubber. This had to have been for a surf fishing rod or maybe an old catfish pole but it for sure went with a real long& heavy rod. It's definitely re-usable or can be a collector's item.
