2 Vintage Garcia Fishing Rods 1 Casting and 1 Spinning
1 Casting rod is a 2 pc. and measures 6'0" long it has 5 eyelets and 1 tip which are all intact although the wraps on the bottom are black and the wraps on tip are light red. The cork handle is in fair condition and the reel seat is in fair condition with the thumb screw reel foot lock working good. The only emblem of Garcia is on the reel seat and butt. 1 Spinning rod is a 2 pc. and measures 7'0" long and the only Garcia marking i can make out is in picture 7. This rod has 5 eyelets and 1 tip all wraps intact but the tip is bent and so is 1 eyelet. The cork handle is fair but is missing cork and the reel seat is in good condition. Vintage Sabre 2 Piece Ultralight Spinning Fishing Rod 5.5 ft 2-8 lb Class 2 Rods
You're bidding on two vintage Sabre ultralight fiberglass freshwater fishing rods. These are the original California Tackle Company products. Both are 2 piece. 5.5 foot, 2-8 pound class. One is a custom made rod on a Sabre blank made by"The River Rat" of Arizona. Both rods are in excellent shape, the wrapping is still intact with no unwinding or deterioration of the epoxy. Guides are straight with no rusting. The tip of one rod appears to have had the guide re-epoxied, but no damage to the blank. The hypolon is still soft after 30 years. One of the reel seats is marked"Varmac" the other is unmarked. Nice high quality rods which are still perfectly fishable or collectable. This rod is missing the insert on the tip. The metal on the reel handle is also showing some greenish discoloration. All of these rods are in very good shape. Besides the missing inserts. There are a few scratches on the blanks, mostly from shipping/handling, I believe. Also, I ship these rods in 4" PVC pipe, so the $19 that I charge for shipping does not even cover my cost, as it is typically about $20 via Fed Ex plus $8 for the pipe. Thanks for looking.

This lot contains 5 Daiwa Procaster Tournament spinning rods which were floor models or damaged in shipping to Bass Pro Shops. Some of the cork handles are still wrapped in the original plastic. All of these rods need minor repair ard are sold as is. Please look at the pictures and ask questions if necessary. I will do my best to describe the condition of the rods. Rod#1: Model: PT662M 6'6" Medium 1/8-3/4 oz. 6-14 lb. This rod is missing the inserts on the tip and the 2 guides below the tip. The handle is still wrapped in plastic and the blank is in excellent condition. 2 piece rod. Rod#2: Model: PT701MH 7'0" Medium Heavy 1/4-1 oz. 10-20 lb. This rod is missing the inserts on the tip and the guide below the tip. The 2nd guide from the bottom is loose and should be rewrapped. The handle shows wear. It looks as if someone may have replaced the butt cap. But I am not sure. There are a couple of spots where the finish is flaking off on the blank. Rod#4: Model: PT601ML 6'0" Medium Light 1/8-1/2 oz. 4-12 lb. This rod is missing the guide inserts on the tip and the 3rd guide from the tip. The handle is still wrapped in the original plastic and the blank is in excellent condition. Rod#5: Model: PT702M 7'0" Medium 1/8-3/4 oz. 6-14 lb. This rod is missing the insert on the bottom guide. The 2nd guide from the bottom is a little loose and should be rewrapped. The handle is not wrapped in plastic but shows no wear and the blank is in excellent condition. Please note that these rods are sold AS IS. All of these rods are in very good to excellent condition. But have been shipped and handled multiple times.
