NEW EAGLE CLAW REEL SEAT AND OLD "KINGFISHER" REEL SEAT AND CORK GRIP
I had a sporting goods store in Eagle. Colorado in the 1980"s and I assume these were among the items that I salvaged. The Eagle Claw reel seat is lacking an end plug, and appears to be made of hard plastic of some kind. It is approximately 5" long, and the unit will fit over a blank at a little less than 3/4" which is a good sized rod. The Kingfisher reel seat and grip are about 9 3/4" long, and the reel seat and grip need to be glued together, as they will come apart. The end cap of the reel seat also will come off, and needs to be attached somehow.

This is an old Shakespeare rod handle& reel seating. This thing is very. Very heavy, looks& feels like a Billy club or a little baseball bat. The diameter of the hole where the rod would fit is about 3/4. The diameter of the wood handle is over an inch. The total length of the handle is 19 inches. The knob at the bottom is rubber. This had to have been for a surf fishing rod or maybe an old catfish pole but it for sure went with a real long& heavy rod. It's definitely re-usable or can be a collector's item.
