VINTAGE FISHING ROD HANDLE AND REEL SEAT - SHAKESPEARE
This is an old Shakespeare rod handle& reel seating. This thing is very. Very heavy, looks& feels like a Billy club or a little baseball bat. The diameter of the hole where the rod would fit is about 3/4. The diameter of the wood handle is over an inch. The total length of the handle is 19 inches. The knob at the bottom is rubber. This had to have been for a surf fishing rod or maybe an old catfish pole but it for sure went with a real long& heavy rod. It's definitely re-usable or can be a collector's item.
