Hi For sale is two of my personal racquets. I played tennis in college and the Wilson Pro Staff 6.0 85 was the only racquet I have ever played. Some consider it the best racquet ever produced. Played by Hall of Fame players such as Pete Sampras. Rodger Federer, Stefan Edberg, Jim Courier and Chris Everet just to name a few. This racquet has been discontinued and no longer made by Wilson for several years now. Even by today's standard, it is considered the best racquet ever produced. More Grand Slam titles have been won playing this frame. I never won a grand slam title obviously. The solid, black glass rod section is fitted with three(3) chromed ring guides set between two(2) modern roller guides, a single roller at tip end, and a double roller at 1st guide position above the foregrip.See Photos) Probably produced back in the late 1990s era, the factory decals are located between fore grip& 1st guide position as well. Smaller one is gold on black with"PENN" on shield at center surrounded by silhouettes ... moreof big fish above and a ribband below reading"Rods of Champions" all in gold letters. PW1/4" 5) Weight sort the grips to make sure all 8 grips are the same weight 6) Install the grips and make sure they line up straight and consistently stretch(on cord is critical for sizing) 7) Installed ferrules. Swing weight them and mark for lead plug adjustment. 8) Install a lead plug and swing weight them to make sure it's within MY acceptable tolerance of 1/4- 1/2 of a point in most cases. Mix the professional epoxy(cure rate 24 hours) and glue them making sure the spine position is in the correct spot and make sure they have the same amount of glue to maintain a consistent swing weight. 9) Let the glue dry at least 24 hrs. 10) Turn the ferrules and shine them up w/acetone. The only signs of wear apart from the grip is the slight rounding of the bumpers from picking up the balls with very slight red primer peering in a few spots atop as a result. You are bidding on a classic example of a vintage model 621 Vom Hofe 6/0 saltwater reel. This reel is marked on the crossbar on the foot: X545 and the port hole covers is marked: Edward Vom Hofe Maker. New York, Pat. May 20, 02. The back port hole cover, however, is missing as well as the crank knob. The reel cranks very smoothly, and has a good strong click. Cosmetically, the reel does have a 3" crack that runs along the back plate; therefore, this reel is being sold as is or for parts. This is a no reserve auction. Penn Senator 114H Reels and 6/0 Senator Roller Rods
Up for bid are 2 Penn Senator 6/0 rod and reel combos. Reels are model 114H. Rods are model 6/0 S-3260 RF(line range 40 to 60 pounds) Both combos are used and show slight wear. But perform just as Penn intended. The manufacturing quality of the reels is superior to what you can buy new, as both reels were made in the USA(in Philadelphia, before Penn moved their production to China) The rods have two rollers, at the tip and above the handle, but one rod is missing one eyelet, just below the top roller(see pic) The other rod has all of the original eyelets. The chromed spool holds about 500 yards of 50# mono line and has a 2.8 to 1 gear ratio. The reel has the classic black torpedo handle and maroon color sideplates. Everything works great on the reel.
