It is a teal green fine metal thread made in France.This is new old stock and appears to be a full spool.The spool measures 1 3/8" tall and 1 1/2" in diameter. Still has the original label which reads" des Henri Verdura. Fly Tying Lamettas, Herter's, Made in France. I think this might be circa 1920s or 30s. A nice piece of vintage fly tying material.
