SILK FLY LINE 5 WEIGHT DOUBLE TAPER 27 METERS ZHU'S
I bought this line several months ago to go with a bamboo fly rod I bought at the same time. I have cast this line on my lawn but it has never been fished. The line casts very nicely and it is in"like new" condition. I have decided to sell the bamboo rod. Also listed, because I like my graphite rods better. I know that's a sacrilege, but I'm working through it. I researched lines pretty well on the bamboo fishing forums and Zhu's line is well respected by the folks willing to fish silk that costs less than 300 bucks. This is the first silk line I have ever handled but I was impressed with the consistency of the tapers and general quality of the line. The"bamboo guys" on the forums recommended applying Mucilin(red label) to the line, which I did. I didn't know the line came with a nice tin of line dressing ... morewhich looks, feels and smells like Mucilin. It's easy to apply, gets you"in touch" with the line and makes it float higher. 1992 ORVIS GREEN MOUNTAIN I Fly Fishing Reel 7 WT. Original Box w/ Yellow Line
Here is a great ORVIS fly fishing real Model"Green Mountain I" that's a Roman numeral one) and also marked"7 WT. On the reel it is marked"Made In USA" Orvis technical people told me this reel was manufactured in 1992 and is considered a vintage reel. New looking. It seems not to have any use, I see no wear marks or chipped paint on surface. It does have yellow line loaded in it and a loop at the feed end of this line as can be seen in the images. The reel is approx. 3-1/2" diameter. The box that comes with it is the original box, though the original packing material is missing. Notice the Orvis numbers on the box lid and also again on the bottom of the box. Inside also is a pamphlet put out by Orvis entitled"Getting Started in Fly Fishing" ORVIS GREEN MOUNTAIN SERIES" which is a 30 pages counting ... morefront& back cover. All in all this is a very nice find. A great item for the avid collector or fly fisherman that remembers these reels and must have it. Please email questions prior to bidding.

It has a 40 foot Aqualux intermediate section integrated into an opaque light blue running line. Here is a lot of used fly lines. Most of these are weight-forward tapers and a few are sink-tips. There is one Scientific Angler seven weight Quad-Tip line that is in excellent condition and a Cabela's multi-tip line in fair shape that is a six weight I believe. Unfortunately. I don't know the exact line weights of the others, although I can say most of them are high quality and in very good shape. To the best of my recollection, most of them are five and six weight lines, and a couple are lighter weight down to two weight and a few are heavier up to one that is an eight weight. 5
