This line is used but like new I only have used this line 2 to 4 times in very good condition only selling because sold the 5 wt rod and selling the reel I went to a 6 wt. needed just a little more backbone for the saltwater then the 5 wt. it was loaded on my redington surge reel that I am selling also. I don't have the box my wife threw then out when we moved going through my stuff to sell so i can upgrade.

This auction is for a Weight Forward 5 XXD Fly Line. It has been used once and is in excellent shape. And has lots of fishing left in it. I do not know exactly what brand it is but would be either Cortland, Rio. or Scientific Anglers. It is a line I purchased about 10 years ago. I am cleaning out my old unused stock.

USED FLY FISHING LINE LOT #1 - MAINLY 4-6 WEIGHT FORWARD FLOATING
This auction is a lot of 7 used fly lines. Most of these lines will be from 4 to 6 weight forward floating lines. Highest probability are there Orvis, Scientific Angler, Rio. The spools they are on do not in any way represent the line itself. There are two additional lots for auction and I will combine shipping. Due to some confusion in the past I need to define what used is. These lines have been used by other anglers in the act of fly fishing. The lines will have wear and tear issues like any other used fly line. Most will have some usable life some might not. Some might have coating issues many will not. They will not sell for much thus the risk is yours and having easily sold over 100 of these over the years all but one person wasn't satisfied. Because of that one person I have to make sure you understand that used means they were ... moreused. Yes its all rather silly but that is the way it goes. In conclusion. If you want a shot at some good lines at a good price with possibly some good useful life left this is a great opportunity. Approximate retail for these lines new would range from $350.00 to $500.00.
