108.5 Foot Commercial Fishing long line/longline with new size 7 hooks

Please note this line is not like my other longer lines that I have been and am currently sell on ebay for years, but it is a little smaller, softer line, and a bit grubby in places, but should fish okay and starts at only 99p! It is 108.5 foot long. 5 mm in thickness 3 stranded rope- quick sinking. It has 13 NEW commercial number size 7 Mustad tinned hooks- ie not angling hooks 0/0 etc. The snoods are roughly 18.5 inches long( backspliced for easy hook change) The snoods are NEW and Hook to hook roughly 8 foot. Please note this line also has 2 joins in it where it has been snagged on the bottom and not due to rot. It has been professionally spliced/repaired and will not impact its fishing ability. This can be laid from a small boat or staked from a low water beach. Ideal for catching cod. Skate, dogfish, bass etc. Being able ... moreto absorb water. These lines are quick sinking. They are NOT made from polypropylene, twine, mono filament or similar non-absorbent materials like some lines advertised on e-bay. Gill net floats. There are 110 grey round. Probably best used with a 6mm braided nylon headline, and 220 green floats, I usually use these on 8mm braided headline. As you will know, the green corks are around £1.40 each at gundry stores(green alone would cost new over £300) so I have set a start price without any reserve. The grey corks do there job, and are ideal for any inshore fishing, but me personally much prefer the longer oval green type. all the green corks are in good condition, grey corks are older, have more wear, but work perfectly fine. You are bidding on a well used Dutch surface fishing gill net. There were quite a few meshes broken but any meshes or holes/rips(not due to rot) have been professionally mended. Being made of nylon. This is a very strong net. It measures 84 foot long. 18 foot 6 inches deep and has 50 plarex helly hanson floats. Mesh size is 2 inch stretched. Or one inch square. The leadline is either a number 2.5 or 3 as it is quite heavy to post. The head rope has two joins. The net will catch herring. Pichards and small mackerel.
