5 fly lines up for auction. I took them off reels which I sold. Cleaned the lines, however in moving them several times labels came off four of them. O ne is marked 5wt-forward/floating. Not sure of the brand. my guess is the others are 5 or 6 weight, but I am not going to begin to guess the type because I don't remember what there are. they all look in very good condition. they would be great for practice lines or in Streams and Rivers where if the get beat on no worries about them.

This is a well used Scientific Angler 12 wt. fly line. I have used it for two tarpon seasons in the Florida Keys. Time for a new line. However this line does still have some life left. Could be a good cheap line to use at night bridge fishing. Where a line could possibly get sheadded on pilings. If you are going to lose a line, better to lose one you did not pay much for. Up for auction is this gently used. Orvis Battenkill Bar Stock II fly reel in the titanium finish. The BBS II is a 2.75 in. diameter, standard arbor reel, weighing in at 3 5/8 oz. It is machined for aircraft grade, bar-stock aluminum, with an offset-gear Rulon disc drag. Orvis puts the recommended line sizes for the reel in the 3 to 5 wt. range. The listed capacity is 100 yds. of 20 lb. dacron with a WF4F line, and 75 yds. with a WF5F. The reel is in very nice shape. There are finish rubs on the reel foot from being on a rod. The frame and spool have no scratches. The reel has some backing and a WF-5-F fly line. Which, I believe to be a Orvis line. It's an older model line, but still looks decent to me. This auction is for a very old. Vintage aluminum FLY BOX that I believe was primarily intended to hold wet flies. That is because the flies would be kept pressed between two felt pads for drying(the materials and hooks) while the snelled leaders were placed in slots of either side of the pad area. There are no dry fly compartments although a few of the flies are dry flies. The box is about 6 1/4" x 3 1/8" X a little over 1/2" It is old, old aluminum and still opens and closes nicely. Everything is just as it was when a friend or acquaintance gave it to me decades ago. I cannon find any identifying marks or stampings anywhere on the outside or inside. Many of the 14 or so flies are snelled and are very old. The box is so beautifully made it's sad that the craftsman or craftswoman didn't leave their mark. I am selling a slightly used Rio Streamertip fly line. This line has been fished only in fresh water less than 7 times at most. It is a 250 grain density compensated 24' sink tip that sinks 6-7 inches per second. The sink tip section is black and then transitions into a orange floating running line. This line is in excellent condition but does not have the welded loops at either end. I prefer to use nail knots so the loops were cut off. It comes in the original box but I had to put it on another spool from a different line. I will include free shipping with all purchases. No end loops. Line has seen some use and will need to be cleaned. Conditioned and stretched prior to additonal service. This is one of several hundred fly lines that I have removed from reels purchased during the past few months. All lines have been identified based on manufacturer tags attached to reel spools or information supplied by the original sellers of the reels. Since a few of the lines may have been changed without the original line tag being removed from the reel spool, I cannot guarantee line identification ... morewith 100% accuracy. In most cases, line weights were double checked with an Umpqua line weight scale(approx. weight in grams of the first 30 feet of line) UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED: Lines may or may not have backing attached- length and breaking strength of backing is unknown. Here for your consideration is a NEVER FISHED Scientific Anglers Mastery Series Trout fly line in size WF-5-F. The line has Scientific Angler's"Dry Tip Technology. It has been previously loaded on a reel. But never fished. It's in pristine, perfect condition with the exception of a tiny indentation on the loop end from a leader being installed. I carefully removed the line and rewound it on the original spool. The label for your reel has never been removed from the line spool, so it's brand new and ready to be used to ID your line/spool. The line has Scientific Angler's line ID system(SAID) so its also marked on the line to identify line weight. There is a welded loop at the front for attaching your leader.
