I'm listing a variety of fly fishing lines that I received from a tarpon/permit/salmon angler getting out of the sport. Some look new. Others are definitely used, however since I don't know the history of every line, I'm listing all as used, as-is. Want to show pics, but eBay not allowing me to upload currently. Orvis WF 8 F Steelhead/Salmon Fly Line with 30' of Sink Tip material
Up for auction is an Orvis Steelhead Taper floating eight weight fly line. It comes with 30' of Type 3 sink tip material that you can cut down to fit your needs. The line is yellow and in excellent condition. The line is also a longer belly type of line. I bought it for my 6/7 weight switch rod. But it is a little heavier than I like. The line is 105' overall length. It would work good on a regular eight weight rod, but I think it would also work well on a 7/8 weight switch or short spey rod(in the 12' range) It was overloading my rod which is a 6/7 weight, but prefers a true 6 weight.

This auction is for a spool of Nylorfi Leader Tippet Material from Cortland. The length of this is listed as 25 meters or 27.4 yards. I'm not sure how much remains but you can see it sticking out of the opening. This product was made in France as noted on the spool front and back. Test is 1.7 lb. Dia is.004 and it reads 7X 10/100. All specifics on front are in English and in French on the back. The front also reads at the bottom Cortland Line Co. Cortland N.Y. 13045.
